Bornite crystallizes in the form of masses, and on occasion, in the form of cubic and Rhombdodecahedral [twelve faces, each being in the shape of a rhombus] crystals. The color is a red-brown and displays an iridescent tarnish. Most typically, the tarnish is purple, yellow, blue, turquoise, and red, although other colors have also been known to occur. Bornite brings all of the chakras into harmony with each other, and can be used to activate any of the chakras. It can be used to increase alkalinity when over abundant levels of acid occur, to increase the assimilation of potassium, to decrease calcium levels found to be excessive, and in the vanquishing of fevers and swelling. Bornite increases the circulation of the blood and regulates the assimilation and retention of sodium. It has also been found to be effective in the treatment of dehydration.
