Out in the Rain
D.C.
I watched silently
As you walked away,
And last I remember
There was so much to say.
But the words I would use
Have decided to hide
Well, If I told the truth,
You'd have thought it a lie.

I still think about you.
No, I'm not alright
I pick up a piece
But it wont fit right.
And all that there was,
And continues to be,
Are those pieces of you
That you've taken from me.

I'm Out in the Rain
I'm Out on my Own
And Everything's Changed
Now that I am Alone
You'll Never See
The Tears Cried for You
They Blend with the Rain
I Feel so Confused

I try to hide my smile
I try to look away
I stand here for a while
'Cuz I don't know what to say
Well, You invite me in
And make me feel at home
Then you shove me out
Here I am... alone

I'm Out in the Rain
I'm Out on my Own
And Everything's Changed
Now that I am Alone
You'll Never See
The Tears Cried for You
They Blend with the Rain
I Feel so Confused

You can't stand
That I've moved on
You can't stand
I'm not the one
You can't stand
That I don't bleed
I can stand
On my own feet
You left first
And then once more
Now I'm the one to
Walk out the door

Everything's Changed
As I Walk in the Rain

I'm Out in the Rain
I'm Out on my Own
And Everything's Changed
Now that I am Alone
You'll Never See
The Tears Cried for You
They Blend with the Rain
I Feel so Confused

I watched silently
As you walked away,
And last I remember
There was so much to say.

I wish I could say it......
