Goodbye

I will no longer cry or plea,

No more ideas to run and flee

You broke my heart into pieces

And my hurt and pain never ceases

But I�ve moved on in life

Through all the heartbreak, loss, and strife

I�ll never forget you

And all that you can do

You made me feel alive again

And restored my faith in men

But in seconds you ruined it

And now my old face will never fit

I�ve come back from Hell

And I�m coming out of my shell

What happened, I will never be sure

But now, once again, I can look into my future

I�m back to the normal me,

Or at least as close as I�ll ever be

You left me here standing alone,

But that didn�t make me cold as stone

I have found in my heart to once again care,

And as you have done the same, it only seems fair

I�ll never forget what you gave to me

And the person I have come to be

I have no more tears to cry,

So I guess this means good-bye.
