Crows are Liars
On a cool summer day there was a peacock who was doing what it normally does. There was also a sneaky crow who was known for lying and tricking others for its benefit. Saddly the peacock did not know of this, so the crow one day tries to take advantage of this. For one day when the peacock was in the feilds doing what it does, the crow was watching and it saw glamerous bright yellow legs on the peacock. So the crow starts getting dreams about him having the bright yellow legs on him. So one day he comes up with a sneaky plan. The crow goes and gives a visit to the peacock.
Hey buddy! said the crow trying to look innocent.
The peacock replies; Hey! What brings you here.
Well buddy I have this problem and I need your help.
What is it that worries you.
Well the problem is that I have a date tonight with the preetiest crow in the world, Crowina.
Yeah, but how is that a problem.
Well my rainbow colored friend it just so happens that my legs are very ugly and I want to look my best for this date man.
I see, but what can I do to help.
Its simple my friend lets trade legs. I mean look at your legs they are beautiful and it just so happens that her favorite color is yellow.
I don't know.
The crow tries to make it more dramatic by showing tears. Ahh come on man. Whats to lose, Iam going to borrow your legs and go to the date and come back and give them back to you.
The reluctant peacock decides to make the trade with the crow, but he is still bothered by one little thing.
Whats wrong now asked the crow?
Nothing I just wanted to know how are we going to make the trade.
You worry to much peacock. Leave it up to me I got this friend whose a god that can make the trade.
Well then what are we waiting for.
The peacock and the crow go to the citadel of the great god Clapactoras (Claw-pak-toras) who was a friend of the crow.
What bring you here crow said Clapactoras in a loud voice. And who is this friend you have brought with you.
Hey! My man Clapactoras. How you doin!
Just fine! Who is this friend that you have brought with you.
Ohh sorry, this is my friend peacock said the crow.
Well hello there peacock said Clapactoras in a Loud calm voice.
Still a bit nervous the peacock gets a word out of his mouth. Hi sir.
The crow interrupts and says that they are here because the crow had a date tonight with crowina and that he wanted Clapactoras to switch their legs. Clapactoras does so and the bright yellow legs of the peacock are now on the crow and the ugly gray legs of the crow are on the peacock.
This is just great man said the crow to the peacock. Ok now I can go pick up crowina and take her to all the wonders of the world.
What about my legs said the doubtful peacock.
Ohh yeah that, wait for me on the tree that I came to you near in the day and I'll come back at midnight to give you your legs back.
The peacock goes back to where the crow had met him in the day and waits for the crow to get back but the crow never shows up when its midnight. So the poor peacock gets worried and goes back to Clapactoras's citadel, but when he gets there the citadel was no longer there. When then the peacock realizes that he had been tricked by both the sneaky crow and his friend Clapoctras. So to this day forth because of that Crows have pretty yellow legs while the peacock has ugly gray bumpy scaly legs.
