Characters:
Setting: Chicago, Illinois around the dawn of the new Millennium.
(The kids are in an after school biology class of seven people. They are currently dissecting a frog when Jill and Kendra decide to play a little trick on Grant and Hill.)
(Mr. Mcklinchy turns around to write the homework on the board.)
(Jill silently sneaks over to her brother Hill. Without a second thought she puts the frog in his book bag. Jill runs back to her seat and notices that Stacy was looking at what she was doing. Trying not to notice Stacy, Jill grabs another frog from the tray behind her and tries to look busy. When the bell rang Hill did not look into his book bag because he was in a hurry to get home he stuffed all his books in. So he did not know about the frog.)
(The girls head for the staircase and out the exit both heading home after saying bye.)
(Jill gets home and runs up to her room and drops her book bag on her bed. Then she ran to go get her dads video camera from the basement so that she can tape the look on her brother’s face when he sees the frog in his book bag. But on her way back upstairs she drops the camera and it brakes. Her father comes quickly to see what the noise was.)
(Jill leaves the room and goes upstairs to her room and just then her brother Hill, Grant, and two of his other friends walk in still without knowing that there is a dead frog in Hill’s book bag.)
(Hills friends leave except for Grant who loves to eat home made cookies that Hills dad makes.)
(A ringing sound comes from the kitchen. Ding!)
(Hill and Grant munch down on the cookies and after they’re done they go up stairs to Hill’s room.)
(Grant goes down stairs and gets both of their book bags and goes back upstairs to Hills room. Upon getting their book bag Grant smells a strange scent in Hills book bag.)
(A bit reluctant to open his book bag, he keeps a good distance between it. Then he opens his book bag, holds his breath and sees a smooth green icky object. He reaches in and takes it out and sees a disgusting dead frog.)
(The next day that Hill And Grant are in school they ask many people if they knew anything about anyone wanting to put the frog in Hills book bag.)
(While Hill and Grant were trying to find the culprit Jill and Kendra were laughing at what they did to Hill.)
(While they were laughing about the prank Stacy comes to them.)
(Stacy runs away before they could say or do anything. She sees Grant and goes up to him.)
(She runs of home before Grant can say anything. Mean while Grant goes to tell Hill the news.)
(With this news Hill is certain that he will be able to get back at the culprit. SO tomorrow morning at 2nd period Hill goes to the Bio-room like Stacy wanted him to.)
(Now that Hill knows that it was his sister who played the dirty trick on him, all he needs is a decisive plan that will make her regret what she did.)
(Hill picks up the phone and he hoped he dialed the right number. He heard a bell. Ring! Ring! Ring! Some one picks up and says hello.)
(Stacy hurries up and puts on her jacket and shoes and runs over to Hills house.)
(They have got the plan and are ready to set the trap. All they have to do is get Jill and Kendra to the parking lot.)
(Hill and Stacy get to the parking lot where they wait for Grant to bring Kendra & Jill. They were still doubtful that Grant could bring the two girls to the parking lot. But they weren’t when they saw Grant with Jill & Kendra. When they get to the lot suddenly the storekeeper goes up to Jill & Kendra.)
(They look and see that there is Graffiti on the wall with their names on it.)
(Hill and Stacy looking at what they saw, they still couldn’t believe it.)
The End
Scene1:
Jill: Hey Kendra wanna have a little fun.
Kendra: What do you mean?
Jill: (Scornfully) You know what I mean.
Kendra: (Confused) No, I don’t.
Jill: Well listen up. (Enthusiastically) We are going to play a little trick on the boys.
Kendra: oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhh now I understand.
Jill: Well here is the plan. We wait until Mr. Mcklincky turns around. When he does I am going to hide under my desk. Then you are going to hand me the frog. Then I’ll do the rest, all you have to do is look like your busy.
Kendra: That’s not fair you always get to do the fun part.
Jill: Well if you can come up with your own plan you can do the fun part.
Kendra: Hurry up he’s not looking. (Jill hurriedly jumps under the desk.)
Jill: (whispering silently) Hand me the frog. (Kendra hands Jill the frog)
Jill: Damn now we cant see the look on his face when he sees the frog.
Kendra: What are you talking about; you live in the same house. I am not one who’s going to see it.
Jill: Oh yeah, too bad you cant see it.
Kendra: (furiously) You better tell me all about it.
Jill: Don’t worry; I’ll tape it for you.
Kendra: You better.
Jill: All right see you tomorrow…
Kendra: With the videotape.
Jill: Yeah, yeah.
Kendra: All right then, (gladly) bye-bye.
Scene2:
Mr. Scott: What happed, are you all right honey.
Jill: Yeah dad I am fine.
Mr. Scott: I heard a noise, what happened.
Jill: Sorry dad but I broke the camera.
Mr. Scott: Its all right honey, we can always buy a new one. All that matters is that you’re all right.
Jill: (With a sad puppy face) Yeah, sorry again dad.
Mr. Scott: (Reaches his arm over to her) Here gimme your hand.
Jill: (Taking full responsibility) Dad I’ll understand if you wont let me…
Mr. Scott: Honey I told you all that matters is that you’re all right.
Jill: Well sorry about the camera dad but I gotta hit the books now.
Mr. Scott: All right you stay outta trouble now.
Hill: (out of breath) Hey dad, the gang, and me were playing baseball when suddenly a dog came outta no where. It chased us everywhere until we got here.
Mr. Scott: Are you boys thirsty from the running, do you want anything to drink.
Hills friends: Ooh no we should be going now cause I think we lost the dog so we better get home while its safe.
Mr. Scott: All right you boys be careful.
Grant: So Mr. Scott, How about some of those famous cookies that you make.
Hill: Yeah dad if you were to sell those cookies you would be the richest man in the world.
Mr. Scott: How many times have I told you that I took their recipe from the new “Aunt Jamie Cook Book”.
Hill: Don’t worry they wont find out about you selling the cookies.
Mr. Scott: That’s what you said when you thought I that I discovered Uranus.
Hill: Ha, ha very funny.
Mr. Scott: All right well lets get them while they’re hot. (Mr. Scott leads the boys to the kitchen where they can smell the sweet taste of chocolate chip cookies. Then Mr. Scott takes out a tray from the oven with really chocolaty cookies laying on it.)
Mr. Scott: Well dig in.
Hill: All right we better start our homework or you know how mad Mrs. Hiyowiyo gets.
Grant: Yeah just a sec, let me just get my book bag.
Hill: Get mine to.
Grant: Sure.
Grant: Yo man, what you been taking to lunch for school.
Hill: The usual, my dads famous chocolate anything.
Grant: Must be some kind of an Italian chocolate.
Hill: What are you talking about?
Grant: Come on man, something must be wrong with you if you don’t smell this.
Hill: You mean you can smell it to. I thought that I was going crazy or something.
Grant: (Gives him the book bag) Well lets see what’s inside.
Grant: Yuck! Disgusting. Who would do such a thing?
Hill: I don’t know, I just don’t know. I do know that who ever did this is gonna pay. I mean look at my books they’re all wet with some kind of a slime. How am I going to get it of? Now I have to buy new books.
Scene3:
Hill: (Exhausted) Did you find out.
Grant: Nope!
Hill: Did you ask Jason? He knows about everything in this school.
Grant: I asked everybody that I know.
Hill: (angrily) How are we supposed to get back at this person if we don’t know who it was?
Grant: Calm down man! I asked everyone I could.
Hill: Sorry man but I am just not you know…
Grant: It’s all right.
Jill: You should have seen the look on their faces. Him and Grant came running out like a bunch of chickens.
Kendra: You’re the one who couldn’t tape it for me.
Jill: I told you, I couldn’t tape it because I broke the camera. I just can’t believe that my father didn’t say anything.
Kendra: If that were my father I would have been grounded for life.
Stacy: I saw what you did in the biology after school class Jill.
Jill: So whats it to you!
Stacy: Apparently I am starting to feel guilty about not telling Hill.
Jill: (brutally) You better not tell if you don’t want another hole for an eye on your face.
Kendra: She won’t tell she’s got (pauses) principles.
Stacy: (Trying not to show the tears in her eyes) I hope he gets you back good.
Grant: Hey Stacy, you do you know that someone put a frog in Hills book bag.
Stacy: (Still trying not to show the tears in her eyes.) I know and I know who did it.
Grant: You do!
Stacy: Have Hill meet me in the Bio-room at 2nd period tomorrow.
Grant: You won’t believe this but Stacy knows who put the frog in your book bag.
Hill: She does.
Grant: Yeah, She said that she wanted to meet you in the Bio-room at 2nd period tomorrow.
Hill: Hey Stacy whats up, I heard that you know who put the frog in my book bag.
Stacy: I’d hate to be the one to tell you this but I felt very guilty about it. It was your sister and her friend Kendra. I saw them put the frog in your book bag when you were in the after school Biology class.
Hill: (frustrated) I should have known it was her. Now she’s gonna pay handsomely. But I still want to know…
Stacy: Why I told you this. Well because it’s a personal matter.
Hill: Well good because you can help me get back at her.
Scene4:
Hill: Well you got anything.
Grant: Nothing yet.
Hill: How are we supposed to get back at her if we don’t even have an idea of what to do?
Grant: Maybe we do have an idea.
Hill: What do you mean?
Grant: Well think about it what would your dad have done if he were in this situation.
Hill: Ohh now I see what you mean. My dad always takes ideas for other people or cookbooks.
Grant: Exactly!
Hill: So all we have to do is find a book on a person who spent his entire life making tricks and jokes.
Grant: We should call Stacy since she knows everything about computers inside out.
Hill: Your right she can find the book on the Internet.
Hill: Hi is this the house of Stacy Warfied.
Anonymous: Yeah who wants to know!
Hill: This Hill Scott. I am a student from her school.
Anonymous: Well this is Mr. Warfield and she’s in her room right now.
Hill: So can I talk to her?
Mr. Warfield: What do you have to talk to her about that you cant talk to me about.
Hill: We have to talk about computers.
Mr. Warfield: Good point. (Mr. Warfield yells out loud honey its for you. Some kid wants to talk about computers.)
Stacy: (Picks up the phone) Hello.
Hill: Hey Stacy come on over to my house we need your help on finding a good trick on the Internet.
Stacy: I’ll be there in a minute.
Stacy: Hi.
Hill: Come on in. (Hill takes Stacy to his computer.)
Grant: All right we need info on a person who wrote books his whole life about playing tricks on people.
Stacy: That’s a good idea. I know a website that has all the tricks known to man. (She types in a name of a website and bang pop up all the tricks.
Grant: Whoa! This must be the best website in the world.
Hill: Damn! This must be the heaven of pay back.
Stacy: Here this is the perfect one.
Hill: Those two are gonna wish they never even thought about playing a trick on me.
Grant: Yeeeaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!!!!!!!
Scene5:
Hill: All right we have everything ready all we need to do is find the bait.
Grant: Leave that to me.
Hill: Are you sure you can get them to the parking lot.
Grant: I bet my allowance on it.
Hill: Alright Stacy you’re with me, we’ll meet Grant at the parking lot with Jill and Kendra.
Storekeeper: You two are in big trouble.
Kendra & Jill: What, what are you talking about.
Storekeeper: Don’t act smart with me. Look at the wall.
Jill: We didn’t do that.
Kendra: Yeah!
Storekeeper: Oh yeah! Then explain the paint on your hands.
Jill: Some kid threw this paint on our hands and he brought us here because he said that we could get some paint thinner to get this paint of our hands.
Storekeeper: Ok then where is this kid now.
Jill: He’s right ther… Where did he go?
Storekeeper: Come on I’ve heard better excuses then that.
Kendra: Its not an excuse were telling the truth.
Storekeeper: Sorry girls but the paint on your hands proves everything. So here is a paintbrush and paint. The sooner you start the sooner you can go home.
Hill: How did you do this man?
Grant: It was simple. All I did was throw some paint on their hands and made it look like an accident. I told them if they wanted that paint of their hands they would have to come with me to the paintarrama shop. I said that they gave free thinner to any one who wanted it. So they came willingly.
Stacy: Wow! That was just ingenious.
Hill: Sure was man. Good thing I thought of it.
Grant: What!!!
