| TELEPHONIC MESSAGE PRESERVATION SYSTEM (TMPS) |
A telephonic based system, with the design of a compact
voice-mail system over telephone, that can store the message called to the
employee of a company (since my motive is to develop the application for organization).
The system also provides adminsitrative priviledges to the called like changing
the password, changing the greeting or closing the box. The employee can
have the message from anywhere around the globe, the only requirement being
a telephone set, by calling the computer administering the entire call records.
The employee can also change the password if he doubts of its confidentiality.
The design is completed and the project is standing on the verge of coding
with only short gap left before its start. The project is being developed
using JAVATM JTAPI (Java Telephony API) and also will be tested
for the linux system since it is one of platforms which we will luring for. |
Platform : Windows 2003 Server and Red Hat Linux 9.0 Language : JAVA TM 2.0 JTAPI, Oracle 8i and mySQL Server (for Linux) |
| COMPLETE CHAT ENGINE |
The chat engine is today one of the most interesting
and favourite activities when you feel bored. Looking with the positive frame
of mind it is the way you can share ideas, customs, feelings if you do not
will to meet the person or if the person is far away. Here the main idea is
to have a chat machine which can run in the local intranet and the organization
members can use it in a positive manner. Similar to Yahoo! Chat Engines, it
also allows you to chat with many people. Primarily the goal was to develop
using Microsoft Technologies, but with the goal of learning Java, the language
was turned to Java with one of the platform support being Linux. A small one-to-one
chat module has been developed. The work of design is over and the coding
is going on. |
Platform : Windows 2003 Server and Red Hat Linux 9.0 Language : JAVA 2.0, Oracle 8i and my SQl (for Linux); will also use JSDT 2.0. |
