Officer 1: What Happen?
Servant: Mrs. Tony got murdered.
Officer 1: Can you please tell me what happen?
Servant: (Crying) He was wearing a mask and caring a knife. He walked up the stairs and opened Mrs. Tony's door and killed her.
(Servant exits)
Officer 2: Sir I have searched the whole house and looks like to me that the murderer got in by breaking the door.
Officer 1: Interesting! Where is Mr. Tony?
Officer 3: Sir, He is in the hospital.
Officer 1: Hospital? What the heck is he doing there? Anyways let's go see him.
(At a hospital)
Officer 1: excuse me nurse, which room is Mr. Tony in?
Nurse: In the emergency room.
Officer 1: And that would be where?
Nurse: To your right and then left.
Officer1: Thank you, sister!
(In emergency room)
Officer 1: Hello Mr. Tony
Tony: (Tears coming out of his eyes) If I had control, I would never let that moment come.
Officer 1: Calm down Tony. Okay I will ask you questions.
Tony: Okay.
Officer 1: Where were you on the night of December 31?
Tony: (Closes his eyes) I�I was at a club, swimming.
Officer 1: Uh huh, how did you get here?
Tony: After I left the club, I came straight to my house, when I was opening my door someone hit me with a bat.
Officer 1: Okay, Tony get well and we will see you soon in my workhouse!
Tony: You are going to take me to jail? For what?
Officer 1: Calm down.
Tony: Oh IC, You think I killed my wife? Okay let it be that, but the truth speaks out! You will not even lay a hand on me.
Officer 1: Be quiet. Let's go officers.
Officers: Yes sir!
(Officers arrived to Police station)
Officer 1: (Thinking) Who could have done it?
Jacky: Well whom ever done it, He or She likes to kill people for fun!
Officer 1: How could you say that?
Jacky: Did you see the way the body was, She had cuts all over her body. He or she had taken her eyes out and cut of her ears.
Officer 1: True.
Officer 2: (Catching his breath) Sir, Sir, Sir, I got something that will surprise us all!
Officer 1: What is it?
Officer 2: I have checked all of the records and found out that as long as Mrs. Tony is alive, Mr. Tony gets none of Mrs. Tony's Property or her money! But if she dies all of the property and money goes directly go Mr. Tony!
(All start to laugh)
Officer 1: Looks like case solved! Go arrest our new friend Mr. Tony!
Officer 2&3: Yes sir.
(Tony is now at the police station)
Tony: What is the meaning of this?
Officer 1: Shut up! Just confess that it was you who killed your wife.
Tony: Have you lost your mind?
Officer 1: I am giving you a last chance Tony.
Tony: Okay, you think I killed my wife, then prove it!!!!
Officer 1: Oh yeah, I will it in the court, but as for now I have enough information to arrest you!
Tony: No, no, you can't arrest me without any prove.
Officer 1: Officers take him to the room.
Officers: Yes sir.
Scene II
(At the court)
Judge Joe: Please have a seat everyone. Mr. Jack, please go ahead.
Jack: Thank you, I just want to say that Tony killed his wife and I will prove it.
Judge Joe: (Coughs) Go ahead and start this case.
Jack: Sir I would like my witness to come up.
Judge Joe: Yes he or she may come up.
(A witness has gone up and said Tony didn't like his wife, they were thinking of having a divorce.)
Jack: Your honor, the bottom line is that Tony didn't like his wife and he wanted to get all her property and her money.
Rita: Objection you honor, I can prove that it was Tony's wife that didn't like him, not Tony disliking his wife.
Judge Joe: Objection over ruled.
Rita: Your honor, I would like to present my witness.
Judge Joe: Go ahead Rita.
(A witness has gone up and said that Tony's wife and him had a sexual relationship, Tony's wife always used to tell me that she didn't like Tony and wants to divorce him)
Judge Joe: From hearing this, Mr. Jack do you want to go on and continue this case for today?
Jack: No sir.
Judge Joe: No sir.
Judge: The court is dismissed.
(Next Day)
Judge Joe: Please have a seat. Go ahead Mr. Jack and Ms. Rita please continue the case.
Jack: Thank you sir, my next witness will change this case and we will know who did the murder.
(A witness has gone up and said that when he was cleaning Mr. Tony's locker and he saw a knife and a mask in there.)
Jack: So you honor, anything else that will prove me wrong?
(Crowd talking)
Judge Joe: Silence, silence. Ms. Rita do you have to say anything?
Rita: Yes, Indeed. I would like to call up my first witness that told us about his and Ms. Tony's sexual relationship.
Judge Joe: Sure, Ms. Rita.
(The witness has gone up and said that it was his knife and his mask. He said that he had that knife and the mask because he had to attend a mask- birthday party.)
Judge Joe: Thank you Ms. Rita. Mr. Jack do you have to say anything to this?
Jack: Yes indeed sir. This lady is a witness that almost got murdered because she threatened Tony of telling the police what Tony did to her.
(The lady witness has gone up and said that Tony is a guy that you would not want to be with. He is a guy that first says thing to impress you and then when gets a chance he takes you to bed. She let crying)
Judge Joe: Ms. Rita do you want to go on and continue to fight this case after hearing this?
Rita: (Anger Voice) Oh hell no! I quit this case!
Judge Joe: The final date for this case will be in 2 days from now. The court has been dismissed.
Scene III
Setting: Rita's house, on the phone.
Tony: Please Rita; I am sorry, I can explain.
Rita: (Tears coming out of her eyes) You are a liar, you told me that you will not lie to me and I told you that if you do, I will stop your case.
Tony: She is lying and I didn't lie to you. I swear. Rita, look I love you, please listen to me. I am not scared of dying. I just don't want to get punished for something I didn't do.
Rita: Okay Tony, I trust you and I will fight your case!
Tony: I love you Rita.
(After two days, the date comes when the final case is getting ready to be present)
Judge Joe: (To the jury) please be quiet and sit down. Please start the final case.
Jack: With everything I have said and proved, I think we all know that Mr. Tony is guilty.
Rita: Objection your honor; Jack is turning this case all around so that we could get confused. The bottom line is that there is no prove at all declaring that Tony killed his wife.
Judge Joe: Objection over ruled.
Jack: But sir�
Rita: As my fellow friend, jack said that the knife was Tony and I proved it that it wasn't his, When he said that Tony didn't like his wife, I proved it that it was Tony's wife who didn't like him. So what's the point that Mr. Jack is trying to prove? There is nothing to prove your honor. Tony is innocent and I have proved it. Thank you sir.
(Rita sits down)
Judge Joe: Before I say the outcome of this case, Mr. Jack do you have any questions or comments?
Jack: (Feels Disappointed) No sir.
Judge Joe: With everything I have seen and that has been proven in this court, I have come to a conclusion that Mr. Tony is innocent. The court is dismissed.
Tony: (Big smile on his face) Thank god, I knew I wouldn't get in jail.
Rita: (Also Big smile on her face) the truth wins!
(Tony hugs Rita)
(Judge Joe, Officer 2&3, and Jack Exit)
Scene IV
Setting: Tony's House
Tony: Rita, you knew I am really happy. This is the happiest day of my life.
Rita: How come?
Tony: (Laughs) That's because I would have gone to jail for a crime that I didn't do and I am here because of you. I owe you everything!
Rita: Don't be silly. The truth will always win!
Tony: (A sick smile on Tony's face) I am really happy!
(The lights turn low)
Rita: I should be leaving now� It's getting very late.
Tony: No please stay here. Why don't you sleep over!?! It will be great! I promise!
Rita: I don't know� is that I don't know you much and I �
Tony: Love you!!!
Rita: Tony, all right I will sleep over.
(Lights turn off and after few minutes they turn back on)
Rita: Good morning Tony, Tony? Oh dam it; it's 11:00AM.
Tony, Tony, Tony?
(A noise is played as if someone is in the bathroom taking a shower.)
Tony: I am here in the shower!
Rita: I got scared for a while, I thought you were gone!
Tony: Gone? Where to?
Rita: I don't know, after what happen last night I want to ask you this question that will change our life's.
Will you marry me?
Tony: Can we talk about this some other time?
(Rita is talking to Tony and cleaning the room.)
Rita: We will.
Tony: So what do you want to do today?
(Rita not answering, She opens the closet and moves some cloths down so she can put the blanket in. She sees the knife and mask in the closet)
Rita: (To her self) How could he? He lied to me? He will pay for it. (Crying)
Tony: Rita let's go to a restaurant.
Rita, Rita, Rita? Answer me. Hello?
Anyone home?!
Rita? Where are you? Hello talk. Okay stop the stupid games and come out where ever you are hiding.
(Tony looks around and sees that the mask and knife is on his bed and Rita is not to been seen anywhere)
Scene IV
Setting: Rita's house
(Officer 2 Enters)
Rita: Hello? Is officer 1 here?
Officer 2: Who's Calling?
Officer 1: Please give the phone to Officer 1, it's a emergency.
Officer 2: Okay, Sir it's for you.
Officer 1: Who is it?
Officer 2: She just said it's an emergency.
Officer 1: Okay. Hello? Who's speaking?
Rita: It's Rita. I am sorry officer, I have made the biggest mistake of my life, I thought Tony was innocent, but he is the killer.
Officer 1: How you know?
Rita: I saw the knife and mask in his closet.
Officer 1: Catch your breath. Okay I come here to the police station and I will take care of everything.. Just don't worry about anything.
Rita: Okay. I will be waiting.
(Hangs up)
(A noise is heard as if someone is coming in the house.)
Rita:(To her self) who the heck could it be?
(Another noise is heard as if someone is walking up the stairs to Rita's room. He opens her door)
Rita: (Scared) Who are you? Why don't you say anything?
(The man takes of his mask and takes out his knife)
Rita: Oh hell no! Tony?
Tony: Yes, It's me your Tony.
Rita: Your not my Tony and stop touching me.
Tony: (Laughing) Rita I really loved you, but you know the other side of me and I don't like that.
Rita: Hell with you and your sides!
(Tony trying to tie Rita up with a rope and Rita's screams. Tony stabs her leg to shut her up! Then he laughs.)
Tony: Rita you are about to be history in few minutes!
Rita: Please let me go (Crying), Please let me go.
(Tony laughs and laughs and when he turns around Rita kicks him and he fall out of the window! Rita then unties herself and calls the police)
Officer 1: Oh my god. Thank god nothing happen to you.
Rita: It was a matter of time and I would have been killed.
Officer 1: Everything is under control now.
Rita: From today and until the day I die, I swear not to fight a dam case and most of all don't trust anyone.
