Arrows
He shares our hearts and souls And gives us what we need He puts the smile upon our face And soothes us when we bleed
His words will never sting He speaks with care and grace The kindness flowing from this man No evil can erase
Though some their arrows sling They cannot pierce his soul The love of God surrounds him Protects and keeps him whole
If there is strength in numbers Then we, his legions, stand To guard our gentle hero Our friend, our love, our man! |

Because of You
Because of you new friendships Through bonds of love are made The acts of kindness you inspire Are oftentimes repaid
It seems by your example That you bring out the best You make us want to spread the joy And share it with the rest
Because of you the music That once did so delight Returned with such a brilliant spark Upon that fateful night
Our lives had changed forever We knew it from the start You shook our world with glorious sound And captured every heart |

Broken Wing
When some called you an angel You said, Im just a man, And please dont call me perfect He hoped wed understand
Then one brief act was caught in time But was it meant to be? A private moment handed out For all the world to see
While perched upon a pedestal The purest soul will sway From microscopic scrutiny Subjected to each day
And we may never really know Just what is false or true Can we presume to understand What we, as humans, do?
And even if our angel-man May have a broken wing His voice still shines with glorious sound To make our spirit sing! |

Fayes Gifts
The love your son so radiates Says volumes for the way He feels the love youve given him Our dear, sweet, gentle Clay
You taught him precious values that He carries to this day Respecting all who meet this man Our tender, caring Clay
You gave your boy the gift of gab He knows just what to say A courage and a confidence Our strong and certain Clay
You raised a man who lives his faith You showed him how to pray For sure the worlds a better place Because you gave us Clay |
