| Daniela Silivas was born on May 9th 1970, in Deva, and began gymnastic at the age of 6. She quickly made her team and started training in her hometown. | ||||||||||

| Growing from success to success, preparing to make history in 1988, gathering in Seoul three gold medals, two silvers and a bronze, and becoming the first gymnast since Vera C�slavsk� to medal in every event in an edition of the Olympic Games. | ||||||||||
| She had to retire too early, with her teammate Aurelia Dobre and all that generation, after the Romanian Revolution in 1989. But between 1985 and 1989 she absolutely dominatd the sport, winning practicly all the medals available. | ||||||||||
| She is surely one of the best gymnasts that Romania has ever produced, and fortunately had the Olympic Games wihout boycotting to demonstrate it. | ||||||||||
| After her retirement she moved to Georgia and currently she is a coach there. | ||||||||||
