S'pore cat goes global
A STORY about a Singapore alley-cat has caught the attention
of Cambridge University.
A Cambridge academic, who spotted the article, Her Name Was Lola, in a SilkAir
inflight magazine, has decided to use it in the university's international
English exam papers.
Written by long-time Singapore resident and Briton Peter Dorney, it is set in
Geylang where both the cat and writer live.
It details the relationship between the two over time and the various
adventures they experienced.
