Lazarus3
it WAS 'spot' I was holding.  His eyes were bright with mischief.  I couldn't believe my eyes, so I uncovered the 'coffin' box on my bed.  Sure enough, it was empty, with only the ultrasweet smell of death emanating from it.  I fell on my knees and praised my God, who will even raise a dead kitten up for one of His Own children.

When Jesus told us to do something in His word, it was NOT only a suggestion or a thing we can ignore as followers (disciples) of Christ.  It is a commandment!
If Jesus told me to HEAL THE SICK and RAISE THE DEAD, then I know Jesus is standing there backing me up.  My job is to pray for the thing that needs to be done, believe, and act and speak as if it is already 'a done deal' and to praise God for doing the works!
Remember, God said the battle is not ours, but God's.
God is the one who performs the Good Works, that we use our faith to receive.
So CAN I RAISE THE DEAD????  Of myself, NO!  I can't, but WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE BY OUR FAITH IN HIS WORD.
There is an "IF" attached to this promise of raising the dead!
John 15:7  "IF ye abide in me and my word abides in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done unto you."

As my ministry grows, I expect to use my faith for HEALING, CLEANSING, DELIVERING, AND, YES, EVEN RAISING THE DEAD.
I am not conceited at all, nor do I have visions of grandeur...but Jesus said I would do it in His name, so I will!  So can you, IF you can believe!
