Lazarus1
Luke 7:12-15  "Now when He came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.
"And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.
"And He came and touched the bier, and they that bare him stood still.  And He said, Young man, I say unto thee Arise.
"And he that was dead sat up and began to speak.  And He delivered him unto his mother."

When Jesus's friend, Lazarus died while Jesus had been out ministering and out of the city, this is what happened:
John 11:38-44  "Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave.  It was a cave and a stone lay upon it.
"Jesus said, Take ye away the stone.  Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him Lord, by this time he stinketh; for he hath been dead four days.
"Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee that if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God?
"Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid.  And Jesus lifted his eyes and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.
"And I knew that thou hearest me always.  But because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.
"And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.
"And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with gravesclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin.  Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go."

When Jesus was raised from the dead by the Father God, Jesus left instructions for His disciples:
Matthew 10:7-8  "And as ye go, preach saying, The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
"Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, RAISE THE DEAD, cast out devils:  freely ye have received, freely give."
Also, in John 14:12-14, Jesus said:
"Verily, verily, I say unto you,
He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
"If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it."

Again, the apostles Peter and Paul (following Jesus's example) by faith in what Jesus told them to do, raised the dead in Jesus's name.
These can be found in Acts 9:36, the raising of Tabitha by Peter; and Acts 20:9-12, the raising of Eutychus by Paul.

So, the bible shows that Jesus's disciples followed what Jesus told them to do and they also could raise the dead in Jesus's name.
