| HAPPY THAI NEW YEAR ! LET'S GO OUT AND GET WET! |
Songkarn festival...it's the time that most of the street in Bangkok is empty. No traffice jam cause many people will go back to their hometown, Thai new year...family get together like Christmas of western people. We cerebrate by playing water... I don't know the source of the tradition but I guess bacause the weather is too hot in April So... we try to keep each other happy by trow water to each other...cool them down. I went to Khaosarn Rd with my friends... so much people there... Only few location that people play water in Bangkok, Khaosarn Rd, Silom Rd, RCA...that's the main location. I bought a big gun...put water on it ...and shoot people that passed me. So fun...and feel like I go back to my childhood again. Today is the last day for the festival... Tomorrow..everything will be back in normal again... Like they say..every party has to be over..somehow. |
