| Well...finally the new year has come. Ever since I've spent most of the time alone this lately For the new year..I was still alone But with the difference feeling tho I don't feel lonely anymore...just relax...and enjoy reading my book A book I read named " Memoirs of a Geisha" written by Arthur Golden It is very interesting book...about life of geisha in Japan Back there in 1890s during the world war II Reading this book I've learned a lot about Geisha And found that geisha is totally difference with a prostitute They are artists who entertained men ,which is the customer at the teahouse with quiet high price...and geisha have to practice to play shamisen, japanese classical dance like Noh or Kabuki since they were very young like 9yrs old. Then go out with older geisha on the party for the fisrt time when they were 14 or 15 It's sound great tho...I was fantasied that I were one of them :-) And my name would be Sayuri-San :-) It might be great to be alone for a while Soon I will go back to work again Wearing mask again. Geisha wearing all white on their face and with the red lipstick Look like a mask People hardly know what they exactly feel I'd like to be a geisha :-) |
