She moped around everyday. She sat curled up on the couch watching the rain fall down from the sky when her Uncle came and sat next to her and she released a huge sigh not wanting to deal with him as he said �You feel okay?�
�Great� she said in a very flat voice.
�Here I got your favorite �Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream�
�Not thanks� she said in a very flat voice while not looking at him.
�You sure you�re okay, you never ��
�I really don�t feel like talking�
�Okay but this is in the fridge if you want it and if you want to talk you know where to find me.� He said his feelings kind of hurt but he didn�t care how hurt she was about breaking up with AJ cause he still didn�t want them dating.
After 6 months she started to show. Howie had to get back to work and give AJ the cold shoulder the whole time finally after noticing this AJ spoke up saying �What up with you? I broke up with you niece like you told me too.�
�Yeah you did� Howie said turning to him for the first time as he said, �You haven�t asked how she was or anything.�
�Cause I didn�t want you too jump down my throat but how is she?� he asked in a very sincere voice.
�Not so good, you know carrying a six month old baby is hard work�
AJ thinking he was joking laughed as he said �No really, how is-�
Howie tossed the papers he was looking at aside as he said almost yelling �You think I am joking�my niece is pregnant.�
�By who� AJ asked in shock and disbelief as he said �You think by me�
�Who the hell else do you think it�s by?�
�I don�t know, if you saw what I saw in her bag you�d have doubts too.�
Howie had let his anger build up enough as he punched AJ as hard as he could as he yelled �You calling my niece a whore? What the hell is your problem?�
�You said it I didn�t� Howie once again charged at him but this time AJ fought back. They were beating the crap out of each other when the others finally came in the room and pulled them apart as Howie yelled trying to break from Nick�s grip �I swear if I ever see you near my niece, I will kill you.�
�You can�t stop me from being with her. I love that girl and her being pregnant, I am glad she is pregnant even if it wasn�t my kid, I�m going to be with her, to hell with you.�
�You broke her heart, she�ll never get back with you.� AJ knowing maybe he was right broke Kevin�s grip and storm off.
Howie came in and everyone crowded him asking him what had happened. Lilah knew before he ever said a word. She slipped on her shoes and raced out the door.
She knocked and knocked at AJ�s door hoping he was home finally the door swung opened and she came inside as she said, �Are you okay?�
He touched her face and ran his fingers through her hair like he couldn�t believe she was real and for that moment none of his wounds physically or emotionally hurt. She pulled him into the bathroom and sat him down. She started to go through his medicine cabinet until she found what she was looking for and started to repair his cuts they were both quiet and she suddenly stopped and gripped her stomach and he placed his hand on her stomach and then she said �You feel it�
�Is it a girl or boy?�
�I�m going to wait and find out when I have it� she said concentrating on what she was doing.
�When are you do?�
�Around New Year�s sometimes� he moved away suddenly from pain and she laughed a little as she said �Sorry�
�Hey� she looked up at him as he asked �Do you think there could be another us?�
�No, we�ve been back and fourth and back and fourth, I�m tired of that plus I have a kid on the way you know�I have more to care about then just about me� they were quiet as she finished what she had started and once done he help her up �There it should be all better now.�
�You�re not leaving yet are you.� He asked really not wanting her to leave.
�Yeah I have too be back before dinner or they�ll know I came here so I�ll see you okay.� She hugged him and him her he didn�t want to let go but she pulled away as she said �Goodnight�
�Bye�
She walked out the door closing it behind herself. She wanted to come back she ever raised her hand to knock but she just decided to leave.
As soon as she walked in her Uncle stood and she released a huge sigh as he said �Where have you been?�
�None of your business, why don�t you get a life and stay out of mines.� She yelled at him.
�You went over to his place didn�t you�
�So if I did� she raced upstairs wanting to say worst to him but she knew her parents would kill her.
