Shes a 17-year-old girl staying here? Why does she have to stay here? Why couldnt she stay with your mother? she asked almost yelling.
Becausemy place is much bigger andI dont know she thought it would be a better environment that she would have more fun here.
Why couldnt you bring home a puppy or a dying kitten but noooo you bring home a teenage girl.
It wont be that bad its only for 6 months plus her aunt just died and no one else would take her in, be nice to her, you two could become friends, hang out, shop togetheryou know girl stuff.
She quickly turned to him as she said I dont think solook just keep her away from me and I stay away from her and we area all happy. She then walked out the room and he knew at that moment that this would be a long 6 months.
Angie woke up that morning to bright sunshine shinning in her face. She got up and showered and got dressed. She came down and into the kitchen, she had to remember this wasnt Aunt Marys house. No breakfast ready. She sat at the table thinking about her Aunt when she started to cry. Why did she have to leave her all alone in the world? Angie wished she could sit at the table with her aunt or just talk to her and everything that they use to do. She was the only chick with her Aunt as her best friend. She sat at the table when she saw something stroll into the kitchen she looked closer and saw that it was a small puppy. She picked it up into her arms then she realized that she was hungry and maybe it was too. She started opening the kitchen cabinets looking for food for herself but the only thing she ended up finding was food for the pup. She looked around and saw a playpen lined with newspaper and a water bowl so she thought that it had to be for the pup and she put him inside alone with his food. She then decided to give herself a tour of the house afterwards she went back into the room she had slept in the night before. She looked the room over once again and decided to finish unpacking. The room was so pretty but yet so dull so she decided to add her touches to the room. She put her posters up and her other stuff around and immediately she felt more at home. It was going on Noon when the door opened and his mother came into the room. Angie quickly got up as she came and sat and Angie hugged her tightly she was so happy to see a warm loving face again.
How has things been going? I see you made the room your own she said as she looked around.
Yeah things have been going okay Angie said His girlfriend hates me, I heard them talking on and off earlier.
Shes just intimated by a pretty face like yours, How are you feeling? Have you ate? she asked sounding worried.
No. Your son has no food here and I feel okay.
You want to hang out with me today, we can go and get you some food and stuff.
Yeah Ill like that Angie said as she hopped out the bed and went over to place her shoes on.
They were quiet in the car at first until Angie said What Im I going to do about school, I have never been to a public school before.
Well it should be fun for you, school started about a week ago, you canits Monday well enroll you next Monday so you can get a feel of the neighborhood.
Well I wont at least be the extremely new girl right, I hope I get alone okay Angie said now really thinking about the thought of going to a public school.
You will get alone okay, you seem like a nice girl.
Why dont you ask him?
Angie laughed a little as she placed the can goods into the cart Yeah if his girlfriend does not kill me first. Its lots of cute guys here I have to admit that, more than back home, maybe I can find a boyfriend.
You didnt have a boyfriend back home she asked as she read the back of some food item.
Nah the guys there were all too much alikeI dont like alike guys thats not my type. Angie then walked over to her side as she said, I hope me and your son get aloneI mean I hope he doesnt let his girlfriend cause him to hate me.
Trust me Angie, he doesnt hate youhe wont hate you, stop worrying and tell me about this hair of yours, its so long it reaches pass your bottom.
Angie laughed because she knew that the question was going to be coming soon enough.
Afterwards she found herself back home and his mother was helping her carry the grocery bags inside and putting the groceries way she then left. Angie went up to her room and showered and put on her pajamas and she left her long damp hair hanging down freely and was sitting in the living room playing with the puppies she had come to find that there were tow of the pups. She was playing with them when the door opened and he came in hand and hand with his girlfriend, he waved but his girl didnt so she decided to just give up on her. Angie wanted to stay as far away from his girlfriend as possible so she went up to her room. There was a small knock on that door and she saw AJ poke his head into the door and he came in and sat next to her as he said, I see you made friends.
Yeah, they are so cute. Angie said having brought the pups upstairs with her.
I see that you got food too he said as he got up looking around at the poster and other stuff she had around.
Your mother took me grocery shopping she said as she placed the pups on the floor and she looked over at him as he said, Does your girlfriend hate me?
He wasnt surprised by her question as he turned to her and said Nookay yeah but shes just use to being the only girl and now you knowshes not but shell get over it.
I hope so, Angie said picking the pup back up into her arms.
Well I brought food, I didnt know you had went grocery shopping and all that.
Thank you Angie said as he walked out the door. Once he had left she thought another nice people maybe his staying in Florida would not be so bad.
