How Did I Fall In Love With You

�You�re scared� There was another boom of lighting and she jumped he grabbed her hand �I never knew you was scared of anything.�

�Well I am� she said almost laughing herself as he led her out the room and into his. She climbed into the bed and he climbed on the other side. They were very much apart when she said �Thank you�

Two months later he got a call from the hospital and it was a nurse and she said �We have your wife down here and she�s in labor, about to have the baby and she really wants you to be here.�

�She does, she wants me to be there?� he said to surprised by it all and the nurse laughed as she said �Yes hurry.�

Minutes later he stood outside her door. He wanted to go in but he was so nervous he couldn�t but finally he did and she looked so tired but she looked beautiful, her hair was messy and everywhere and she was reaching for him and he can over quickly as she barely got out �Thank You for coming, thank you for being here.�

�No problem, how are you doing so far?�

�Okay, the breathing techniques help a little and you being here.�

They grabbed each other�s hand lacing their fingers between one another. Twelve hours later she delivered a healthy baby girl. She was 9 pounds and 6 ounces. She had honey brown and curly hair on her little head, He kissed his daughter and then his attention turned to Nadia who was still ever buried out from the whole thing. They were so close she could almost feel his heartbeat and that�s when it happened of her, she fell in love with him, he kissed her first and was about to pulled away when she started kissing him back they were very into it when the door burst open and they family and friends entered.

After seeing their daughter that day they both realized that they had to grow up and they both did. They couldn�t go out with different girls and guys each night. They couldn�t stay out late and falling in love was helping a little too.

He came in one night and to her surprise he was very, very happy, he came inside and pulled her off the couch and she laughed as he twirled her around and then pulled her into his arms. He had not shown that much affection towards her since she had the baby and they kissed a couple of weeks ago and she said �What happened? What�s up?�

He pulled their new contract out his pocket and he flipped through it to the last page and handed it to her and then he said �That�s after we split it five ways�

�Really, I�m so proud of you � she said hugging him and him her.

�With this Nadia �you and me and Brandi won�t ever have to worry about anything�ever.�

She laughed once more cause he was so happy as he picked her up and quickly pretended to drop her and then they both stood as she said �What was that all about?�

�I forgot that the baby fat wasn�t gone yet.�

Her jaw dropped and she hit him in the arm as she �How could you say that?�

�I was joking, don�t be so sensitive.�

�What about you at least I have an excuse, you have love handles.�

She laughed and started up the steps as he said �Please take that name in carefully�

She then came back down the stairs and placed his arm around her neck as they started up the steps together and she said �That�s okay though, I think Brandi missed you today.�

He decided to surprise her so he came home during his break. He walked in and she was doing sit ups in a tight workout outfit. She had on biker shorts and a sports bra and he sat the bag of cookies on her stomach and she quickly sat up as she said �Do not play games like that? I promised myself I would stay away from those cookies?�

�They are your favorite� he said as he picked the bag up from her stomach.

�I know okay one won�t hurt.� she grabbed the bag and went and sat on the couch and he followed and they both sat as asked �What are doing here?�

�I came to see Brandi� he said digging into the bag of cookies.

�She�s upstairs asleep�

�Well wake her� he said.

�No way� she said closing the bag of cookies and she stood up as he said �Why not?�

�I�ll never get her back to sleep, you want me to fix you something.�

He nodded �yes� and watched her walked out the room. She defiantly had got her figure back from having the baby but he dismissed that from his mind as he went up towards Nadia�s old room and his now his daughter. His now 6 months old daughter was playing with her small stuff animals in her baby bed. When he picked her up she was extremely happy, her eyes seemed to light up just like Nadia. He came down and into the kitchen where she was just placing his food on the table.

�She was already awake� he said as he sat.

�I know, she�s so quiet� she said and she came and sat in her usual spot and she said �I never um told you um�thank you.�

�For what� he said while playing with his daughter and trying to eat at the same time.

�Thank you making me a mother� he was speechless as he looked over at her. She grabbed his hand and cupped it in her�s.

Nadia was so happy to go back to work, Brenda was working when placed the framed picture in front of her, Brenda quickly turned her chair around and found herself looking up at her beautiful friend �Nadia?� she stood up hugging her tightly as she said �You look so good.�

�Thank you I missed you so much�

�I missed you too�

Nadia hugged her again �Ah you look great yourself, you like my babies picture?�

She looked at the pictures some of all three of them and some of just her or him or him and the baby and her and the baby. Of all the pictures Brenda liked the one with all three of them. They were the perfect family she pulled the picture close as she said �You guys are a family Nadia."

�Yeah for only 6 more months remember, just two years.�

Nadia them sat in her chair and Brenda got up pulling a chair over hearing the change in her voice she said �Tell me�

�Tell you what?� Nadia said not wanting to talk about it, checking messages she knew wasn�t there.

�Um you know Nadia� she said knowing this was very hard for Nadia to admit. �You and my cousin, it�s written all over you, it�s in your face.�

�I did exactly what I said I wouldn�t do Bren. Fall in love. I know I love you cousin, I was so ready for these two years to end so badly now I can�t see myself without him.� She laughed a little to cover up the tears she knew were coming �I am sick out of mind.�

�I can�t believe it, you said ��

�I know, it�s just when you least expect it�when you�ve built that wall and then it just comes crumpling down and you�it�s so hard.�

�Tell him�

�No, no way� she said cleaning up her face with the tissue Brenda had handed her. She said �I think about him all the time, when I close my eyes Bren I see his face and I just I love everything about him even his so-called bossy and controlling nature everything.�

�Tell him Nadia, tell him how you feel�

�I can�t cause if he rejects me I will die Bren, I�d be so hurt so theses last six months I�m gonna enjoy myself, treat it as if he�ll be mines forever, you can�t tell him�

�But ��

�You can�t tell him� she said grabbing her friend�s hand tightly �Don�t. Promise you won�t�

�I won�t tell him Nadia.� She said as she hugged her hurting friend. He happened to be thinking the same thing at that exact same time.
