Howie sat across from this girl at dinner her name was Nicole or was it Rachel he really didn�t know but he did know that she had a boyfriend that she was telling him about now, he really didn�t care that she had a boyfriend either and she was talking when he said �Are you and this guy getting married?�

�Maybe�I am not sure right now...maybe�

�You don�t sound too sure� he said looking a around a little and then back over at her.

�Cause I am not, hey you wanna get out of here� she asked looking over at him.

Back at his place they were really making out when she pushed him off her a little and almost breathless she said, �If we do this there are no strings attached right because I love my boyfriend.�

�Okay� and with that they started back to kiss.

Howie�s cousin Brenda was a journalist and her best friend Nadia was also and was exactly like Howie only she was a female bachelor that�s why she wasn�t surprised when she came in with a big smile on her face as she said �Good morning my great friend.�

�Good Morning, you sure look happy.�

Nadia pulled a chair over next to Brenda as she said �I had the best night, this guy his name was Dan and girl, he had this big condo with a hot tub and, Oh my Goodness.�

�Yes a hot tub� she got up putting the chair back at her desk where she sat across from Brenda as she said �You should try it sometimes.�

Brenda shook her head as she said �You are such a whore Nadia�

Nadia sat at her desk checking her messages not looking over at her she said �No, I�m enjoying the single life plus� she looked over at her �When a guy sleeps around he is known as a player or pimp but when a women do it she�s considered a whore, it�s not fair, a women is suppose to explore her options and choice of men.�

�You don�t have to sleep around to do that�

�Whatever Brenda� she said looking in her desk drawers.

�Well I got sick of the single life and got married�like you should� Nadia rolled her eyes as she continued �It�s the best, security and stability knowing you are loved, kids.�

�I agree with you Brenda you have a good life� she tossed her a peppermint as she finished �Boring but good, being tied down, hyper active kids and no life, looking at the same guy everyday.�

�You won�t think that when you get married, When you fall in love Nadia with that special guy.�

�Love Brenda, it�s such a stupid, fake, false, mindless, mind blowing word now get to work�

She laughed and started working well they both did. Brenda sometimes secretly wished she could be like Nadia. For Nadia everyday was a new adventure plus to her, her friend was beautiful, she had very like brown eyes almost hazel and long light brown hair that she kept up most of the time, she had a killer figure and was about 5�5 she looked a little like Jennifer Lopez only a little shorter and like Jennifer she was Puerto Rican and spoke with a small accent. Her and Nadia had been friends all their lives every since grade school. Brenda always longed and prayed that Nadia would fall in love and settle down but according to her conversation that wasn�t happening any time soon.

Howie at the exact time was talking to some chick right downstairs in the lobby. Afterwards he went up to her office where she was and placed his hands over her eyes from behind and she stood up and turned happy to see him and she hugged him tightly as she said �What are you doing here?�

�I came to see you� he said handing her the rose that was in his hand.

�Thank you� she said and then Nadia come to mind �I want you to meet someone�Do you remember Nadia?�

�Yeah that little boney girl you use to always hang around.� He said as he thought back to who she was.

�Yeah well� she saw Nadia over talking to someone she walked over and pulled her over to her desk as they all stood before each other �Nadia you remember my cousin Howard right and Howard this is Nadia.�

They extended and they shook as he said �Very nice to see you again Nadia�

�Like wise� she said as he was about to kiss her hand and she pulled her hand away �Bren I am going to get a soda do you want one.�

�Yeah�

Nadia walked off and he watched a while before turning back to Brenda and she sat in her chair and he sat up on the desk as he said �Well she has really grown up�

�Yeah she has�

�She�s very pretty�

�Yeah she is�

�Does she have boyfriend?�

�Where should I� she suddenly stopped and thought and she quickly said �Um no she�s single, single, very single, as single as can be�

�Are you sure someone as beautiful as her?�

�Yeah you should ask her out when she comes back.�

When Nadia came back she sat Brenda�s drink before and went and sat at her desk across from her and he moved over to sit on her desk and she said �Get off my desk please�

He stepped down off her desk as he said �Are you busy Friday?�

�Yep�

�Saturday�

�Yep� she looked around him and over to Brenda �Bren you cousin is annoying me and that�s the last thing I need today.�

�Well I thought I was being charming�

�Well you are wrong.�

Brenda suddenly stood up as she said �Nadia he�s exactly like you in every way and when I say every way I mean every way.�

�He�s not my type� she said looking him over and him not really offended said �Not your type?�

She just looked at him and grabbed her bag as she said �I�ll see you later Brenda, lunch calls.�

With that she walked off and he sat in her chair across from his cousin as he said �Lunch calls�

�Yeah and she doesn�t mean food.�

�So� he picked up the picture of Nadia from her desktop looking at it he said �She�s that type of girl�

�Yeah but thanks for coming by to see me.� She came over and hugged him and he hugged him back.
