"Did you have fun?" she quickly turned to see her ex-boyfriend Justin sitting in a chair. He looked really messed up and tired "I came to get my girl back"
"Justin please leave, it's over between us" she said growing scared.
The phone ringed and he picked it up and quickly hung it back up as he said "Dana I know I treated you like crap but I've worked on that problem I worked on everything I promise."
"Justin leave" she said as she walked out the room towards the front door and opened about to go out herself because she knew he could get very violent.
"I just want to talk Dana" he said slamming the door shut.
She yelled "I just want you to leave Justin now...please"
"I'm not leaving Dana" the phone rung and she quickly raced over to it but he pulled the entire phone out the wall and he grabbed her arm as she said "I thought you said you had changed"
"You just made me angry and when I get angry I just-"
"So what are you going to do to me .....beat me, rape me what?! you have done it all before."
He jerked her angrily into the kitchen and threw her into a chair. and then he began to tie her arms and hands up behind her back and then her feet as he said "I love you so much Dana..I'm not going to let you go..I told you, you belong to me"
"I hate you"
He kneeled down in front of her tracing her legs with his fingers as he said "Your skin has always been so soft, So where were you?"
"Out on a date" she said thinking of the events of the night "I think ..no I know I am falling in love with this guy"
He angrily slapped her as he said very angry "I'll kill him, you remember that David guy."
"No" she said remembering the guy she meet not 2 weeks after arriving in Orlando. He had helped her move in and she thought they had something until he suddenly disappeared "You killed him Justin"
"Yeah with this" he said pulling out a small silver pistol "It's all your fault"
"I can't believe you killed him" she said now in tears.
"Don't cry, I did it for us" he said now standing hating when she cried.
"There is no us!" she yelled "And there will never be another us."
He slapped her again and then there was a knock at the door and he turned to her "If that's him get rid of him, if you don't I will...I swear"
He untied her feet and arms and grabbed her arm and walked her to the door. She opened it a little and it was Brian as she asked "What are you doing here?"
"I came by to check up on you, I called you and the first time it picked up and then hung up and the second time it was disconnected ...you've been crying what's wrong."
She felt him push the gun up in her back "Um nothing, I am fine I'll call you I really have to go."
"Dana" he asked confused by her actions.
"I'll explain later, I promise"
Before he could say anything more she closed the door and Justin said "He ask lots of questions?"
She yelled as she shoved him "It's because he cares"
"Shut up Dana" he said as he grabbed her arm and pulled her back into the kitchen he tossed her on the floor and he sat up on her as he said "We've had some good times on floors haven't we Dana"
"You have..Having sex with you has never been a pleasure"
He angrily slapped her and then he started to laugh "Dana you always had the greatest smile and sense of humor."
He started kissing her neck and she refused to let him do this to her, the news about David and the thing her and Brian had going she kneed him as hard as he could in his middle and she jumped up off the floor as she yelled "I don't love you anymore Justin"
She ran past him but he grabbed her leg and he pulled her towards him and she struggled trying to fight him off as he snarled "Tonight we die like Romeo and Juliet"
He hit her over the head with his pistol knocking he unconscious. Brian had heard most of what went on and when he no longer heard Dana he walked into the kitchen and saw her scrawled out on the floor "What did you do to her?"
He quickly got up "What the hell are you doing here?"
"Is she okay?" he said ignoring him trying to get to Dana.
"What the hell do you care? Didn't she tell you to leave?"
"I just-" before he could finish they were involved in a fight both of them throwing punches at each other. Dana began to wake up with a terrible headache, finally she got up and she heard them fighting very surprised to see Brian there and the gun on the counter top in which she grabbed and pointed it towards them "Justin leave him alone"
They both stopped and turned and looked over at her and Justin said "You'll never do it"
He got up and walked directly up to her and took the gun from her, she ran towards Brian and Justin pulled the trigger and a bullet hit Dana in the shoulder and she fell to the floor as Brian scared out his mind "Dana...Dana..no"
He ran over to her and she wouldn't move at all both the guys in tears sat next to her trying to revise her as Justin said crying "I wanted to scare her, I didn't mean to hurt her..I swear man..I didn't"
But Brian didn't hear him as he gathered Dana up in his arms and he carried her lifeless body out the door and now the police and neighbors were all out and around and when they saw Dana they were all in tears. He carried her all the way into the ambulance that awaited outside. Then the paramedics took her but he rode with them and he really wondered Can you really fall in love in just a week?
