Brian stood outside the flower shop looking all the different types of flowers that they had. A florist from inside came out and he asked her "Do you all have roses?"
"No sir we are out of roses" she said fixing some flowers that were out there.
"How can you all be out of roses?" he said a little shocked "Man"
"You are getting flowers for who..a girlfriend a sister a friend what."
"A friend that I want to be more"
"Well be different sir get her some Daisies, Daisies are good."
"You think she will like them."
"I promise you she will"
He thought that women were always right so he decided to go with the Daisies.
It was a beautiful day out. The sun was shining brightly and the sky's were clear and blue. He grabbed the flowers he had just bought and walked up to her door. He knew she was home cause it was a Saturday and was probably bored. When he knocked she answered with that smile that he loved, She was dressed in a long bright multi-colored skirt with a white sleeveless shirt. Her hair fell freely but was still damp.
"Hey I thought I would never see you again" she said happily as they hugged each other.
"I have just been busy, I hope you forgive me I brought you these."
He pulled the flowers from behind his back to see her face light up as she said "Oh my Goodness they are beautiful...I flowers...I love flowers especially Daisies."
"I am glad you like them...um Dana I came by to ask you if you wanted to go out with me on a date a real date."
"Like a dress up date." she asked smelling the flowers.
"Yeah if you want too"
"Brian I'd love too." she said looking up at him.
"Really?"
"Yeah"
"Well I am here on my lunch break and I just decided to stop by and surprised you maybe cheer you up by asking you out."
"Ah thank you" she said hugging him and him her "You have cheered me up, Have you had lunch yet?"
"No I haven't ate yet"
"Let me fix you something okay, you have time don't you" she said pulling him inside.
She closed the door behind him and he knew that he would be late but AJ was always late so he decided to stay.
Dana was confused on what to wear. She hadn't been on a date this in a long while. She stood in her robe in her bedroom where two dresses laid as these two adorable twins that lived next door (Marci and Janet) but stayed her house. The girls reminder her of her and her sister so much they helped ease the pain of having to leave her behind in California.
Dana asked "The long black one or the short black"
Marci climbed up on the bed "The short black one to show off your legs guys like legs."
"Good idea Marci, Janet go get the door for me okay."
Janet raced out the room and opened the door and when she saw him, her jaw dropped to the floor "I can't believe it, you are Brian L-"
"Yeah and you're Marci or Janet? Dana told me all about you two."
She smiled happily cause he knew at least one half of them "She told me a Brian but she didn't say you. Well my name is Janet and my sister Marci she's..wait here."
She ran off without ever inviting him in so he came inside closing the door behind himself he sat when Janet ran back in with her sister and he couldn't tell them apart for anything as Janet said "I am Janet and this is my sister Marci."
"Hey Janet and Marci"
"Hi" she said excitedly and she pulled her sister over to the side but he could still hear them as Janet said "Okay ask him"
"No you ask him"
"You ask I introduced you to him." Janet said.
"So what Janet please ask."
"Okay, okay" Janet said hating to say no to her sister. They both ran back over sitting on each side of him.
Janet said "Um Marci wants to know if you will sing to prove you are you." he laughed.
"I didn't say that Janet" Marci said defensively.
Janet ignoring her "Will you please? Just a little"
"Yeah I will sing just for you and your sister okay"
Dana was putting on her jewelry when she heard him singing from the other room. He had the most beautiful voice she had ever heard. She walked out her room and stood behind in the hallway where she peered into the living room to see him sitting with the two girls singing softly she smiled to herself and went back into her bedroom to finish getting dressed.
Dana looked herself over once more in the mirror to see herself dressed in a short black dress that reached right above her knee, the bottom part and the top bust part had little vine like white flowers across it. she had on strappy heels with her hair pinned up. She grabbed her purse and walked nervously out the room, she went into the living room and he quickly stood up speechless.
"You look, you look great Dana."
"Thank You, So do you Brian"
"Are you ready to leave?"
She nodded her head 'yes' and she grabbed his hand as he lead her out the door. She was surprised when he opened the door for her and it was not the convertible she had seen him in all the other times but a luxury car in which she climbed in and him on the other, the car was quiet and then she said "I haven't been out like this in a long time"
"You're going to have fun I promise you"
"I know I will"
He laughed " How do you know that?"
"Just being with you is fun."
He looked over at her and then back ahead "You think so"
"Yeah, I mean it"
She couldn't help but laugh a little.
Dana and Brian were sitting across from each other at a very expensive restaurant, soft music was playing a warm candle light between them he could tell she was very nervous. "Why are you so nervous?"
"I never been to a place like this before."
"It not so bad just act normal."
The waiter finally sat their plates before them and poured them wine when he asked looking up from his food "Monday Ms. Adams, Can I please come to school with you?"
She laughed a little and then looked up at him "You'll distract my students"
"I will sit all the way in the back and I won't talk I promise"
"Why do you want to go to work with me so badly?" she asked beginning to eat once again.
"To see you and to hang out with your students at the end of the day, it was fun."
"I'll think about it"
"Okay" he said finishing his meal and she laughed to herself she defiantly wanted this guy for herself.
