She opened the door and he came in scooping Nancy up into his arms her laughing. Debra didn't feel like talking to him so she got up and disappeared into the back room to dress. She didn't come back into the living room until about a hour later. And she walked over to Nancy and picked her up. And she hugged her when she put her down and ran over to Jeff and she said happily "Isn't my mommy pretty"
She couldn't help but smile as she said in a cheerful voice "Not as pretty as you." She walked back over and kissed her "Be good okay and be in bed by 8:00pm okay."
"And in the morning when you come it will be magic."
"Yes our magic. Good night sweetie."
"Goodbye"
On that note she walked out the door.

At that time Howie was just walking in greeted by his family, who were happy to see him. He talked a while and then went up to his room to sleep.

The morning Debra woke up in a pretty good mood. She heard the giggle she knew too well of her daughter in the other room so she got up and went into the living room where he was sitting in front of TV eating cereal and she looked up and quickly running into her arms she kissed and said "Good Morning"
"Hi mommy, I made cereal all by myself this morning without making a mess."
"I am very proud of you."
She put her down proceeded to walk to the kitchen and Nancy followed close behind her as she rushed to say "Today we go and we find you a pretty dress and me."
"Yeah and we better get going cause it's 12 already, I slept late huh."
"Yep I thought you were never gonna get up."
"Come on" she picked her up and carried her out the kitchen.
Howie was done eating breakfast with his family. And it was back to his old ways of walking and sitting around the house bored out his mind. He was looking at a picture he had of her and her daughter when John came into his room he quickly hid the picture behind his back and his brother came and sat next to him pulling it from behind his back.
"Why don't you just go back to her?"
"You know you miss her, the guys told me how you acted while on tour."
"But why?" he placed the picture back on his night stand. "Why I'm I thinking about her and her daughter so much."
"Cause you love them, you broke up with her for a dumb reason, that girl is fine."
He released a ge sigh and said kind of sad "I can't go back to her."
"What's stopping you? Your pride. You love that girl as much as you hate to admit it."
"Rejection that's what. You didn't hear the things I said to her, she'll never take me back."
"She understands you were upset, she'll understand but you'll never know until you try."
"I don't even know how to get in touch with her."
"Get off your butt and go find her."
John walked out and Howie sat there a second thinking about what he said then he got up to go out to find her some kinda of way.

Debra was looking at herself in this department store dressing room mirror. It looked good on her but she didn't like it. She heard Nancy laughing so she pulled the curtains back and saw her laughing at AJ. She was pretty surprised to see him yet happy to see him.
"What are you doing here? I thought you guys were on tour?"
"We're back"
She got kind of nervous as she asked the next question "So how have he been? He's been good right."
"Yeah I guess, he didn't hang with us much off stage, he isolated himself, he misses you."
"I miss him too but um.....What do you think of this dress?"
"Not bad. It would look so much better if you had nothing on at all."
"AJ my daughter is here."
"I'm sorry, Let me make it up to you ladies over lunch."
"I have a lot to do today."
"Just lunch so I can convince you to go beg for my friend back."
"Beg, I don't think so." She went back into the dressing room laughing.

After a long hard day of hunting and looking for Debra he came in really frustrated and not in the mood to talk to AJ, who was sitting on his couch.
"Where have you been all day? It's not like you have a girlfriend to hang out with."
"Not now, this is not the time." Howie came and sat on the couch beside him releasing a huge breath. AJ couldn't help but laugh as he said "I had lunch with your ex-girlfriend today and her very sweet and cute little girl."
"No you didn't"
"You know after 2 months she looks even better"
"Did you really?"
AJ had to play on this as he pulled this piece of paper out of her pocket and started looking at it as he spoke "I have her new number, she moved to a condo upstate, see if I was you I would try everything to get back with her."
"Why would she give me her address? I already tried to hit on her about a million times."
"Makeup something. Come on" he was really excited now hoping AJ would stop pulling his strings if he was.
"Give me one good reason why I should."
"Cause if you don't I'll tell Tanya bout that chick in-"
"Okay I'll do it for Nancy cause she kept asking about you"
"Really, What about Debra?
AJ laughed and dialed the number and he was on the phone dialing. He could tell when she got onto the phone cause AJ flirted with her full blast with her just to make Howie mad finally he hung up the phone scribbling down the address.
"How could you break up with her that girl voice is like-"
Howie snatched the number out his hand "Stop lusting over her, she's mine plus you have a girlfriend."
Howie walked out the door very nervous and excited about being able to see her again but he didn't know what he was going to say to her to get her to take him back but he didn't care he was going to get her.
