Ever heard of a Beagle that couldn't swim? Meet Snoopy: twice fell through thin ice into the pond; afraid of rabbits; never the brightest dog. But she was a faithful companion, and we loved her.
Tam O'Shanter MacTavish, aka Tammy, aka Tuppy
Dogs are pack creatures by nature, and in Tammy's mind, I was definitely a subordinate in her pack (but I always became her best friend when it was time for a walk). This is the only dog I've ever known to dance in circles -- we called it "The Highland Fling." Her devotion was outstanding and her presence was enormous for such a small dog. We miss her.
