Still working! Different categories of disabilities affecting some of the children I have worked with include ADD/ADHD, Autism, Behavior Disorder, Down's Syndrome, Learning Disability, Physically Impaired, and William's Syndrome.
My special-needs kids: ah yes! Everyone can learn -- some in a different way. Everyone can participate in activities -- some in a different way. Everyone can love another -- even if their smile is twisted or their eyes can't see. Love first, learn second.
