Local Roundup: Callan fans seven in SHS road win

Tyson Callan struck out seven and Kevin Wirth and Kyle Grace each drove in two runs as the Sinagua baseball team won its second straight to open the season with Saturday's 9-2 defeat of host Bullhead City Mohave.
Callan, who got the win, walked one and allowed one earned run in 3 1/3 innings' work. At the plate, he went 2-for-4 with a RBI. Wirth also went 2-for-4, while Daniel Talbot and Cody Wallace had a hit and an RBI each.
Grace was 1-for-3.
The Mustangs will play at Queen Creek on Monday at 4 p.m.
