Werewolves of Simkeep
Lycanthropy 101
by Mabon Lewellyn
Since pets have come to sim communities, it has now become possible for sims to become werewolves.  In the past those of us interested in the pursuit of knowledge have always been fascinated by ghosts and alien abduction.  Now there is something new that peaks our interest.  What is it like to be a werewolf, and how do we attain this goal?  In this article, I will try to lay out a plan for how to acheive ths goal and the benefits that come with being a creature of the night.  This will be of particular interest to sims that have as their life's goal the keen pursuit of knowledge,  those of us that crave the experience of another new aspect of life's great wonders.  The first step in this journey is to know that the only way it can begin is to become friends of wolves, meet the master wolf and gain his trust and friendship.  The following is a pictorial essay of my own journey to becoming a werewolf of Simkeep.
My first step in the process was to discuss the matter with one of my best friends, George Hart who is also keenly interested in the lifelong pursuit of knowledge.  We had spent many hours in the night peering through telescopes hoping for an alien abduction, which we never acheived,  Now I was hoping for his support in this new aspiration which he readily gave.
Later that night, I made up my mind.  I would begin the path to lycanthropy.
I heard that in order to meet wolves, it is best to select a heavily wooded area because that is where they like to hang out.  The woods next to Merrie Tailors was the perfect spot and so I took my life into my hands and decided to spent nights stargazing in that location.  Many nights I risked death by satellite, hoping that I might see a wolf.
Those nights of stargazing in the woods paid off.  I met the master wolf,  A noble creature with glowing yellow eyes.  Now I knew I had to gain his trust and friendship.  Therefore every night I went back.  Feeding the master wolf treats to gain his trust, and playing with him.  Bit by bit I gained enough trust to pet him and show him affection.  By these means I gained his friendship.  It felt special to become bonded to a wolf.
With lots of love and attention I was able to build my relationaship very quickly to the point where he enjoyed having his belly rubbed.  The goal was to attain a high enough relationship with him for him to nibble me.
Success!  After a few nights of making friends with the Master Wolf, he deemed me a good enough friend to nibble me.  The transformation was immediate under the moonlight.  I was changed from a mere peasant to become something much more.  Through the good graces of this wolf I was to begin my life anew.  By night I would now be a werewolf,  and by day my humble self.
