| Alia ("Adia" by Sarah McLoughlin) (Feb 2007) Alia, I do believe he failed you. Alia, I know he let you down. Don't you know he's tried so hard To honour you in his way It's not easy .. to let go... Alia, he's changed since he left you Trying to find a way to carry on. He's searched himself and every time He's seen where he went wrong. 'Cause there's plenty here to point the finger And there's no one else here to blame. There's no one left but him to take the heat And there ain't no one but us to cry his innocence What might have been had he known? Forget it Alia, cause he is still innocent. It doesn't matter what might have been He is not the same man. Alia, he thought that you were behind him But I know that doesn't change The way that it went down He left you when you needed him And it feels like he did betray. You saved him from the fomori And he left there to fall. We'll show you all the good he does possess. If only you could let yourself forget What might have been, had he known? Move on Alia, 'cause he is still innocent. It doesn't matter what might have been. He is not the same man. Believe me Alia, He does regret it.... |

| The Stand of Alia (Chris de Burgh's "The Snows of New York") (Feb 2007) She could see him fight by the light of the moon See his strength was waning fast, They had fought all night, and he couldn't fight anymore But she did stay so he might last. She had always been such a kind soul to him Despite his insults and his jeers And when she saw that he was near to the end of his strength She pulled him free and stood by him. There are those who fail, there are those who fall, There are those who will never win, Then there are those who fight for the things they believe And these are Garou like you and him. As in a dream he fought, back to back with her Leaving carnage in his wake, And when there were no more fomori left to fight, That was when he knew his mistake; Dododododo She had always been such a kind soul to him Despite his insults and his jeers And when she saw that he was near to the end of his strength She pulled him free and stood by him! | Run Forever ("Ride Forever" by Paul Gross -Due South sndtrk) She was born up north of Cairo, 1945 And she travelled all over the world, and has since ten and five. And she'd seen this world about her bend with her first change. Alia Chases-Luna was a Silent Strider. Well, she was not a coward, she'd seen her share of war And she fought with bravery, a fact we don't ignore. She fought fomori at his back -- you ask me how she died? Hell, I'll tell you straight - She died with honour And we'll sing her name to the moon up in the sky! 'Cause she's gonna run forever You can't keep a Strider in one place. Should the battle call, well it's only then She might pull in the reins. Now they tell me she was Theurge, they say that she was kind They point the finger at Skull-splitter for leaving her behind I say "Hold on all you Elders 'cause you got something wrong. He ain't to blame. No, he ain't to blame." Death it comes with battle and we each will fall in time. But her deeds are not forgotten, her spirit, it never dies. Like the wind that blows in thunder Or the stallion on the fly, she's moving fast And moving on and we'll sing her name to Luna in the sky! Cause she's gonna run forever You can't keep a Strider in one place. Should the battle call, well it's only then She might pull in the reins. So I say to all you Garou, don't let her name be lost Recall her deeds of glory, do we remember at a cost? It's time to put aside our differences, forget about your pride Kick back your head, we're gonna howl together And we'll sing her name to the moon up in the sky! Cause she's gonna run forever You can't keep a Strider in one place. Should the battle call, well it's only then She might pause for a piece. (repeat chorus and fade). |
