Her hockey stick, is made of the finest ironwood. At it's handle a patch of golden fur surround the grip. Along the entire length of the stick are glyphs to Wolf, Gaia, Buzzard and Fenris as well as those for Unity, Teamwork and Pack burnt into the wood. The blade of the hockey stick is metal and its inner and outer edges are sharpened to a cutting edge.
Rebecca was always a very physical child - enjoying all sorts of sports and athletic games (football, wrestling, hackey sac) but her favorite was hockey.
In Rebecca's 2nd highschool year, she went through her first change when one afternoon on her way home through an alley she was approached by three big, burly men and attacked. The men turned out to be Get of Fenris tribemates Umar, Klause and Clyste, sent to test her. She must have passed well enough cause they started training her. She was sent to live with her kinfolk Grandfather - Dieter Braun, a farmer who lived in Edson on the outskirts of Edmonton. To her amazement, her best friend in highschool Ivy O'Maly turned out to be Garou as well - Fianna, Ragabash. The two went through their Rite of Passage together and decided to form their own pack - To ECH With You. Rebecca was expecting to be Alpha but lost the position due to a riddle challenge. After much deliberation and discussion it was decided to see if Dana would consent to be their packs totem... so they travelled to Ireland on an Totem quest and while there met a Nuwisha named Loki. He joined their pack.. and much to everyones surprise they were accepted by Dana and became her children. Rebecca's ban was to never fail to aid a Fianna in need of help.
Rebecca took the name Swallows-the-Heart-of-the-Wyrm after she frenzied so strongly that she entered the Thrall of the Wyrm. She was lucky her packmate Ivy was present with her Harmony flute... but her packmate wasn't fast enough to prevent her from eating the heart of her enemy. She took the name as a reminder to ever be vigilant against frenzying. Also it sounds formidable.
They ran together as a pack for a year, travelling all over the place - Nova Scotia, New York, Vancouver and then back to Edmonton. But Rebecca's Get Elders were concerned that Rebecca was not being taught the Fenrir way.. so they arranged for her to leave her pack for 6 months to train at the Sept of the Silvermoon by Lake Smithville. While she was away, her packmates met a fate worse than death.. they were corrupted by the Wyrm and became Black Spiral Dancers. At hearing the terrible news, Rebecca left Silvermoon (this just after a whirlwind romance ended badly) to seek her former packmates and kill them (maybe save them). Rebecca returned to the Silvermoon Caern to heal up, gather resources and such, several times over the span of 3 1/2 years, while continuing her search. In the summer of 2002, she heard word that her former packmates were killed in New York. She tried to verify the source but ran into a dead end. She decided the quest was over and returned to Lake Smithville Woods and asked the Grand Elder if she might join the Sept of the Silvermoon as a member. Her request was granted and it didn't take Rebecca long to find herself a new pack..Unity's Strength. For 2 years Unity's Strength remained an active and formidable pack within the Silvermoon Sept but for reasons of their own the pack has now moved to Detroit. Steels Rebirth saw the end of Unity's Strength as the pack broke up. Only Becca and Amy remained and though they tried they could not come close to rekindling the strength of the former pack under Raccoon - Becca's inspiration began to dwindle. In the spring of 2006, Steels Rebirth fell to the Wyrm's attack and the survivors including Rebecca fled to a sister Sept - Three Rivers. Led by the indominable Klaus ~Skull-splitter~ but even here Rebecca is finding that she doesn't fit in - especially after her packmate leaves and she foolishly befriends a Namebreaker. Now she has neither pack, nor tribe. She is Outcast. Whatever will she do now?
