| Cheats Ctrl + Shift + C- brings up the little gray cheat box. klapaucius- gives you 1000 simoleans. rosebud- replaces klapaucius if you have the Sims patch 1.1, Livin' Large, or House Party. !;- repeats the last cheat you entered. (Ex. After typing rosebud and entering !; two times, you will receive 2000 simoleans.) set_hour- (values 1-24) Set the hour of the day. sim_speed- (Values -1000 - +1000) Set how fast the Sims runs. water_tool- enables the water tool, where you can add ponds and puddles, etc. grow_grass- (Values 0-150) Set how fast the grass can grow. interests-Views selected Sim personalities that aren't already shown on the menu. autonomy- (Values 0-100) Sets how much the Sims can think on their own. route_balloons on- (Or off) Self explanatory sweep- Shows the "ticks" in the game. draw_all_frames- Self explanatory. tile_info- Self explanatory. map_edit on- (Or off) Self explanatory. bubble tweak [z offset]- Sets the z value used to offset the Sims' thought bubbles. draw_all frames- Draw all animation frames, without skipping to keep up. draw_floorable- Turn the floorable grid on and off. draw routes on- (Or off) Draw colored dots on selected person's path. edit grass [ increment]- Turn on the mode for editing grass tiles. Increment sets the number value by which to change the grass. history- Writes out the family history of the current Sim family. (So far I have never had any luck with this cheat, it's never worked for me!!!) log_mask [mask]- Sets the event logging mask. move_objects on- (Or off) You can now move any object or Sim (!) in the game. prepare_lot- Checks for required objects on the current lot (like a mailbox). preview_anims on- (Or off) Turns on or off animation preview mode. rotation [1/2/3/4]- Set the absolute world rotation. route_balloons on- (Or off) Turn on or off the display of routing debug balloons. sim_log [begin/end]- Start and stop the Sims from logging. Tricks Deleting Certain Items: The Do's and Don'ts 1. Do delete your bills when necessary. 2. Do NOT delete your mailbox!!! 3. Don't delete the carpool car. 4.Do delete those bothersome gravestones. 5. Don't delete your outside trashcan. 6. Do delete your Sims when they are tired, but don't forget to SAVE first. I'm the Sim Shady, the real Sim Shady... How to import your own music files into the Sims: 1. Go to Windows. 2. Go to your Mp3 file and make a shortcut of it. 3. Go to My Documents and find Maxis/The Sims/Music/Stations directory. 4. Open the Station file you want your Mp3 file to be in. (Ex. Classical) 5. Put your Mp3 file into that Station file. Now you can listen to your own songs whenever you turn on the radio! *Don't import too many files, as it will result in slower gameplay.* How to Kill That Pesky Sim - Surround them with a fence or wall, and they will die of starvation. - Put them in the pool, take away the ladder, and they will drown to death. - Buy a guinea pig, never take care of it, and your Sim will die of the Guinea Pig Disease - Have a Sim with no cooking skill make a meal, it will start a fire, and burn to death. - Have a Sim with no mechanical skill repair an appliance, and it will be electrocuted.
