Lisa Simpson is an 8 year old who was really paid her dues. At an early age, her sax-playing mentor "Bleeding Gums Murphy" passed away. Lisa has had quite a bit of love experiences over the years. She's had a fling with schoolyard bully Nelson Muntz, whom she tried to change. But after they kissed, she discovered he was still the same old bully he always was and dumped him. She has also had crushes on Mensa leader, Jesse Grass, and teen idol Corey. Milhouse Van Houten is always trying to win her over, but he's never successful because Lisa only thinks of him as a big sister.
Lisa is without a doubt, a real smart girl. She has participated in several enviromental activities and is a vegetarian. She is also quite the protesting little girl, and she got that trait from her father who always taught her to stand up for what she believes in.
Lisa was also "deceased" at one point. After joining Mensa, she found out that the oldest tree was being cut down. So she stayed in the tree and then left without anyone seeing her. She snuck back home and fell asleep, and when she awoke she found out that the tree had been struck down by lightning. She was presumed deceased, and she hid out for a few days before announcing she was alive as she's ever been.
