Episode 5
"Temptations"
The Springfield tribe woke up on a hot day which was 38 degrees celsius. Romance then sparked between Edna & Barney! Edna commentted, "I've always seen through Barney, but something about him lures me in, like he is a fisherman and I'm his bait. I love Seymour though, luckily he can't catch me!" Barney said, "I realize she's dating Seymour, which is good, because I have feelings for Patty. She's a real special lady and she's the first person to see who's really inside."
The Shelbyville tribe had troubles about accepting their 5-person tribe. Kent was suprisingly proud, "there was only four women in this game, now we've only got one in the tribe. It's thrilling that the boys are in control for a change!" While Seymour had a different perspective, "my tribe betrayed me and voted out my mother, I can't believe they did that." He also said, "Patty's really sweet but the temptation to eliminate the rest of the women has hit me. Even though there was 4 women in this game, it'd be great if it was boys only!"
Both tribes received treemail. Moe opened it in Shelbyville and Jasper did the honours in Springfield
The temptations are at a high when you see the prize
You will be lured into our laps
But try to resist it or you will be bait
And may fall into our trap
They went to the beach and Homer introduced the challenge. You saw strawberries, cream, chocolate, fresh fruit, beer, and pop. You had to sit there and resist the temptation (also, you are offered the prize after you couldn't resist the temptation.) The tribe the last person standing is in, will get to eat the prize, and receive something more!
Springfield was up 2 members, so they held a poll to see who wanted to sit out. The people who thought they'd last the shortest amount of time sat out, and they were Nick and Barney. The contest began and Edna shortly was lured into the trap. She was then taken to another location. Seymour and Timothy then gave up and went there also. Jasper failed Springfield and was taken away. It was 3 vs. 3. Patty couldn't resist and was out of the game. Apu then was eliminated. Moe then gave u, so Springfield won. Well...only Ned & Jasper. The people eliminated were held in chambers with no food!!! Ned & Julius got another suprise, they got to go on a trip to see an African Safari!
Julius & Ned returned to their tribemates after they were released from their chambers! They told their tribemates all about their trip. Barney confessed to Edna they couldn't date, and they both agreed on the matter.
Tension was building, and Shelbyville hoped that they would not go to tribal council, except Seymour who said, "I want Patty gone so it's only men around here!"
The immunity challenge was a maze. Springfield was up two members so they selected Jasper & Ned. They picked a leader, and tied together, they had to find flags than run back to their flagpolls and put it in one of the five slots. Whoever got the first five in, won. Springfield's leader was Nick, and Shelbyville's leader was Patty. Shelbyville got 3 in 5 minutes and Springfield got 1 in 5 minutes. Springfield then tied Shelbyville after a 2-minute comeback. Springfield got the advantage, and both tribes got the fourth one. Nick then led them the wrong way and then tripped everyone allowing Shelbyville to walk away with iummunity
Mad at Nick, Springfield went to tribal council. Here's how it played out.
