7.01: "Bar Wars: Episode III"
Moe discovers that he is being forced to shut down his bar for health reasons. Wanting to keep their favourite hangout, Homer, Barney, Lenny and Carl team up with Marge to make Moe's the most impressionable bar ever for the next inspection. However, it proves difficult when they discover that the inspector is an incredibly annoying ex-girlfriend of Homer's.
7.02: "Free Willie"
Homer starts working at a crappy burger bar, where he meets Willie, a Scottish guy who wants to become a janitor one day. Homer discovers that Willie has a contract to stay with the burger bar for another fifteen years, and so, he decides to step up and help him out. However, it soon proves difficult. Meanwhile, Lenny manages to bump into his ex-girlfriend Jill.
7.03: "Are You There God? It's Me, Homer"
After a particularly bad day, Homer turns to religion. However, he takes things too seriously, and during a church reading, he promises to everyone that Jesus and God themselves will personally appear to everyone in Springfield. Marge, Lenny, Carl and Barney attempt to stop him from doing anything crazy, but he is later faced with a large group of angry Christians.
7.04: "Three's a Couple"
There are shocks all round when Lenny reveals that he has gotten back together with Jill, even though she has a boyfriend, and he has decided to become a couple of three with them. Everyone else, however, becomes determined to prove that it is not quite right to do this. Lenny must make a tough decision of whether to keep his possible true love or not.
7.05: "Homer Goes Hollywood"
Homer is asked to direct the upcoming Springfield High movie, which is made every year mainly because of the income involved. Feeling trusted as a school graduate, he accepts the challenge. However, he later realises that his friends all want roles in the movie, and he can't seem to explain to them that roles are only given to students of Springfield High.
7.06: "A Tale of Two Instruments"
Whilst visiting the Bouvier house, Homer comes across an old piano in the basement, never found before. He manages to wreck it all up before telling Marge, and when she finds out, Homer fears that his relationship with her may have been ruined. Now, he must find a way of getting another, identical piano before Marge's parents return home, but it is hard.
7.07: "Teenage Tycoons"
Fed up with never being able to take Marge out anywhere and fearing for his relationship with her, Homer becomes determined to find a way to raise some money. He turns to Lenny (or, "the idea man") for some help. However, Lenny is soon running out of ideas and he can't seem to break the news to Homer. Meanwhile, Marge feels sorry for all the trouble Homer is going to.
7.08: "Kill Jill"
Lenny discovers that his ex-girlfriend Jill has witnessed a crime, and he also finds out that she is now the target of the criminal gang. Lenny, determined to protect her, decides to hide her at his house. However, during the time spent together, they find themselves becoming closer and closer to eachother, and soon have difficulty to conceal their feelings.
7.09: "Homer's on the Case"
Homer and Marge are invited to Marge's cousin Jack's vacation home in France. However, the relaxation is soon cut short when he reveals that he wants to help them find out who's trying to kill him. Homer and Marge are close to giving up, that is, until Marge realises just how much danger Jack is really in. The two must make a choice, and one of the choices could risk their lives.
7.10: "The Drum of All Fears"
Re-united with his old band, Homer realises that he has forgotten how to play his guitar. Instead of learning to play again, he decides to teach himself how to play the drums. However, it is more difficult than he expected, and he is soon beginning to feel the pressure when he discovers just how much the other members of the band want to create a new song.
7.11: "Jealous Sea" (1)
Homer discovers that Marge has signed herself up for a three-month cruise for women, and he is shocked that he can't go with her as it is for women only. He later realises that his constant moaning may have jeapoardized his relationship with Marge, and so he must find a way of apologising to her before the cruise leaves. However, it soon proves difficult.
7.12: "You've Got Nothing to Cruise" (2)
After talking to Lenny and Carl, Homer begins to fear that three months spent with women may change Marge's sexual preferences. Now, he becomes determined to do whatever it takes to get the cruise ship to come back to Springfield. However, it is more difficult than he expected, but his wishes are soon fulfilled. Marge, though, is feeling extremely angry with him.
7.13: "Break Out"
Still angry about the events in the previous episode (7.12: "You've Got Nothing to Cruise"), Marge decides to call off her relationship with Homer. Extremely hurt by this, Homer decides to move out of the apartment and move back in with his father, Abe. Homer's friends are beginning to get fed up with having to avoid at least one of them when the other is around.
7.14: "I'm Out the Money"
Marge reveals to Barney, Lenny and Carl that she is having financial problems and she is being forced to move back in with her parents. Feeling partly responsible, Homer decides to ask his boss at the burger bar for a raise. However, the answer is an immediate "no". Meanwhile, Marge is happy that Homer is going to so much trouble for her, even after the break-up.
7.15: "Don't Mess With Barney Gumble"
After almost being mugged on the streets, Barney realises just how weak he is, and how he needs to learn to defend himself in the future. Determined to do something about it, he decides to take up karate classes. However, after a few weeks, nobody seems to like the new, agressive Barney, and Homer, Lenny and Carl try to do something about him.
7.16: "The Simon Story"
Marge's ex-boyfriend Simon is moving back to his home country, and Homer couldn't be happier. However, his happiness soon comes to an end when he discovers that Marge has somehow convinced Simon to stay. He later realises that they have become a couple again. Angry, he decides to try and find a girlfriend. Failing that, he tries out speed dating.
7.17: "Being Carl Carlson"
Homer, Barney and Lenny are shocked to discover that Carl has recently become depressed. The rumors soon get out of hand and they are all shocked to discover that Carl is considering commiting suicide. Fearing for their friend's life, they become determined to prove to Carl that life is worth living. Meanwhile, Marge is not sure whether to sleep with Simon yet.
7.18: "Booze Cruise"
Barney, Lenny and Carl invite Homer on a booze cruise. However, Homer denies, explaining that the sight of boats reminds him of his unfortunate break-up with his ex-girlfriend Marge. However, after seeing her get close with Simon, he decides to go on the cruise anyway, and he manages to get extremely drunk. The others attempt to convince him to drink no more.
7.19: "Nothing But Cash"
This month's burger bar paycheck has finally arrived for Homer, and he decides to give half the money to Marge so that she can buy back the apartment. However, he is shocked when he realises that she has invited Simon to move in with her. Angrier than ever, he attempts to get he apartment back. But to do this, he must make a case out of it and go to court.
7.20: "I Shove Rock and Roll"
Homer needs a new member for his band, as one of them has left. The best candidate is an excellent player. However, he despises all types of rock music. Seeing as the band is rock-related, Homer and the other members must make the new guy get into rock music, but it is a lot tougher than they suspected. Meanwhile, Marge prepares to move to the apartment with Simon.
7.21: "Marge Attracts!"
Marge's relationship with Simon is jeapoardized when the strangest men keep coming onto her. Marge realises that this affects Simon in a great way, and she feels as if she can't trust him. Feeling betrayed by her boyfriend, she decides to break up with him, and so he moves out. Lenny decides to help her feel better, and the two find themselves becoming close in the process.
7.22: "Lenny and Marge"
The news of Lenny and Marge being an item has spread around Springfield. Homer, extremely angry, gets drunk and later punches Lenny several times. Homer is now feeling guilty, and he becomes determined to make it up to Lenny, who is now hospitalized. Meanwhile, Marge is feeling guilty about her relationship with Lenny as she believes that she is just using him as "the last resort".
