6.01: "Spare a Penny for Lenny" (2)
Homer, Carl and Marge manage to catch up to Lenny, who explains that he fears that Jill will leave him once they are married because of his lack of money. Carl, however, is the only one who can see that Lenny has become terirfied of commitment. Eventually, Lenny decides to call off the wedding, but is afraid that Jill will leave him because of this decision.
6.02: "I Love Lenny"
Jill reveals to Marge that she still has feelings for Lenny, even after the wedding disaster. However, she can't seem to tell him this. Marge, who is suspicious of something, decides to put Jill to the test and see whether it is true love or not. Meanwhile, Homer and Carl are trying all they can to help cheer Lenny up about the wedding business.
6.03: "Young Homer Simpson"
Homer befriends a young child named Larry, and he describes him as a younger version of himself. Lenny and Carl are beginning to feel rejected by their friend, and Marge is getting lonely without her boyfriend. But Homer is soon shocked to discover that Larry is Lenny's younger brother. He soon feels uncomfortable being around him, and must make a choice.
6.04: "The Greatness That is Dondelinger"
Dondelinger has been working at Springfield High for twenty years now, and Marge is asked to write a speech dedicated to him. However, after realising what he is really like, she finds it hard to write anything nice about him, and finds herself in trouble when she writes an offensive speech. With the help of Homer, she attempts to show that she is entitled to show her feelings.
6.05: "Life's a Beach"
Homer and Marge decide to go on a summer beach trip with eachother. However, they soon realise that building work will get in their way of a romantic vacation. Marge attempts to appeal to the mayor of the town, whilst Homer, determined to have some fun, decides to enter a surfing contest to prove to a "beach bully" that he can win. It is tougher than he suspected.
6.06: "Knocked Down and Out"
A new student named Bob Terwilliger arrives at Springfield High, and Homer begins to notice that he may have a thing for Marge. Homer attempts to do whatever it takes to keep Bob away, but when he ends up knocking him unconcious, Homer is feeling extremely guilty, and he fears that his relationship with Marge may have come to an end. He attempts to cheer Bob up.
6.07: "I Break Up Screaming"
Lenny notices how depressed Jill has become ever since the wedding disaster, and so he decides to break up with her, claiming that there are many other guys out there for her. However, he soon realises just how alone he feels without anyone to love. Noticing what their friend has become, Homer and Carl take Lenny speed dating, with disastrous results.
6.08: "The Bouvier House Rules"
After a large plumbing incident takes place in Homer's home, he and Abe are invited to stay with the Bouvier family. However, later, they find themselves being kicked out for disruptive behaviour. Marge attempts to get her parents to re-consider. However, it is difficult. Later they are forced to change their personalities so they will be accepted, but it is hard to keep it going.
6.09: "The Truth About Carl"
During dinner with his family, Carl leads himself to believe that he was adopted around ten years ago. With the help of Homer, Lenny and Marge, he sets out to find his real parents. However, they soon realise that it will be more difficult than they thought, especially when they discover that they could possibly live all the way in Australia. Carl must make a tough choice.
6.10: "Tour De Dance"
Homer realises that everyone is excited about the upcoming high school graduation, and he is shocked to discover that he is short of one mark in a lesson, so he can't graduate. He must pass one more class, and he will be fine. But he soon realises that this certain class happens to be dance. He must make a choice, but he finds himself flipping out over all the graduation celebrations.
6.11: "I Drink I Do"
After a night of heavy drinking, Homer, Lenny and Carl awaken on a boat. After discovering that it will be travelling all the way to Europe, they realise that they must find a way of getting home themselves. The whole experience questions Homer's addiction to alcohol. Meanwhile, there are shocks when everybody discovers that Lenny got back together with Jill a while back.
6.12: "Break Up, It's a Beautiful Morning"
Marge discovers that Jill is considering breaking up with Lenny, and she attempts to convince her not to go through with it. However, it is difficult. Eventually, Marge gives in, but Jill is finding it difficult to find the best time to break up with Lenny. Meanwhile, everyone else finds themselves nervous to do anything during the whole breaking up process.
6.13: "Clip Show II"
Graduation has almost arrived, and Homer is getting more and more nervous as the day approaches. With the help of Lenny, Carl and Marge, he tries to make himself feel better. However, a surprise visit from Barney makes him feel better. After the graduation ceremony, everyone starts reminiscing about their years at high school, in the second clip show.
6.14: "Marge vs. Abe Simpson"
Marge, fed up with living with her parents, decides to move in with Homer at Abe's house. However, she eventually reveals that she has a problem with his father. Now, to remain with Marge, Homer must stand up to Abe, but it proves difficult. Instead, he attempts to find an apartment for them to move into together, but they realise just how hard it is these days.
6.15: "Bar Wars: Episode II"
Moe discovers that his bar has become much more popular ever since the graduation at Springfield High, and he is happy to begin with. That is, until, he finds out that his beer supplier has cut him off. Now, he must face a bunch of angry, drunken people, who will do anything for some alcohol. With the help of Homer and Marge, he attempts to find more beer.
6.16: "The Way We Almost Was"
Homer, Barney, Lenny, Carl and Marge decide to talk about big decisions that changed their lives. Barney recalls the events of his time spent in Florida after his sister died, and he had to choose whether to remain there or return to Springfield, and Homer remembers the time he met Marge and he had to make a tough decision of whether to make their relationship serious.
6.17: "I Live in Beer"
Barney's parents return to Springfield, and they explain that they are disappointed in the fact that Barney drinks so much. Now, he attempts to givee up alcohol once and for all, with the help of Homer (who also wants to give up, after the events of 6.11: "I Drink I Do.") But, they find it extremely difficult to maintain a sober lifestyle. Marge attempts to help them out.
6.18: "A Fling Thing"
Homer is angry when he discovers that Marge had a fling with Simon before they broke up with eachother, (2.13: "Break Up and Smell the Coffee), and so he marches over to Simon's house to teach him a lesson. However, he later discovers that Simon passed away a few weeks ago. Homer notices how upset Marge has become because of this, and he begins to worry.
6.19: "Bad Swear Day"
Homer, strapped for cash, decides to become a tour guide at the Springfield museum of natural history. However, he later discovers that he will only be showing small kids around, and after realising what a pain they can be, he swears extremely loudly right to their faces. Now, before the tour ends, he must get them to stop using the swearwords themselves, but it is hard.
6.20: "Relocation, Relocation"
Homer and Marge have moved to their new apartment, yet Homer doesn't feel quite right about it. He reveals to Barney, Lenny and Carl that he is having trouble dealing with all of the changes that have been going on - starting with the Springfield High graduation. He considers moving back in with his dad, but soon realise that this may ruin his relationship with Marge.
6.21: "Life With Artie Ziff"
There are shocks all round when Homer and Marge discover that they are being evicted from their apartment, as the whole block is about to be bulldozed. Marge is happy when Artie Ziff shows up and offers the two a place to stay in his large house, but Homer is not too sure. He becomes determined to make sure that nothing is going on, but it soon proves difficult.
6.22: "Money Games"
When Marge discovers that Homer is getting a secret income of money when he has no job, she becomes determined to find out how this is possible. But when she realises that he may have started to make secret deals late at night with gangsters, she is afraid that her trust in him has vanished forever. With the help of Barney, she attempts to find out more.
