Homer bowls a perfect game and becomes a local celebrity. Soon though, his fame starts to fade and Homer becomes discouraged and even attempted to jump off a building to kill himself, but Otto who was bungee-jumping saved him at the last second. Homer decides to turn to his kids and help them, but realizing they don't need him he starts to shower all of his attention to Maggie, and since Maggie can't talk she has no choice but to spend time with Homer.
Ron Howard guest stars as the voice of himself, Penn Jillette guest stars as the voice of himself, Teller guest stars as the voice of himself, Pat O'Brien guest stars as the voice of himself, and Nancy O'Dell guest stars as the voice of herself.
