RaptorCon and Venomina are walking down the street; as usual, RaptorCon is eating. This time, it’s an entire side of roast ham.
Venomina: You must have a bottomless stomach. You’ve not stopped eating for the past four days
RaptorCon: (Belches loudly)
Venomina: You’re disgusting
RaptorCon: Bite me
Venomina: No thanks, I don’t know where you’ve been
Drax walks up to them, holding a scanner device.
Drax: RaptorCon, I’ve found where she is
RaptorCon: And?
Drax: You know that I have to go
RaptorCon: I’ll inform the others.
Drax takes out a silver box and hands it to RaptorCon.
Drax: You know what to do?
RaptorCon: I do. Good luck old friend
Drax: Thanks
RaptorCon: See you at the... digital café?
Drax: It’s called a Cyber Café, and yes, I’ll meet you there, and the others, at the THIRD time
Drax hugs his friend then turns and runs in the opposite direction
Venomina: What’s going on?
RaptorCon: This is guy stuff, so you wouldn’t understand
Setting: LionStar – Bridge
Drax works the controls. He gets up and goes to the science station.
Drax: Computer, calculate trajectory for time jump
Computer: Trajectory calculated, powering up Chrono-Drive
Drax works the controls then sits back in the chair.
Computer: Chrono-drive powered up and destination locked in.
Drax: Launch
Setting: Space – Miranoi Orbit
The LionStar blazes up from Miranoi and disappears in a halo of light as it powers up it’s Chrono-Drive and disappears into the river of time.
Setting: Reefside High School
As the bell rang, signalling the end of yet another school day, Kira Ford’s thoughts were not on relaxing and enjoying the weekend or spending time with Trent. Her thoughts were elsewhere. Lately, she’d been having dreams about this strange, mysterious figure glad all in red.
Connor: Hey Kira, wait up
Connor McKnight, the former Red Dino Ranger walked up to her.
Kira: Hi...
Kira pays no attention to her friend and classmate as they head away from school.
Connor: Are you ok Kira? You seem distracted...
Kira: I’m fine, really...
Connor knows his friend is keeping something from him.
Connor: Ok Kira, what’s bugging you? You’ve been acting all spaced out for over a week?
Kira stops and turns to face Connor.
Kira: I’m sorry, it’s just that I’ve been having dreams...
Connor(Smiling): Everyone dreams Kira...
Kira: It’s not like that. These dreams I’ve been having are SO...intense... and the guy who appears in them, he’s just so...
She smiles at the thought of the man in red who appears to her every night.
Connor: It sounds like you’re in love with him...
Kira(Blushing): Ahem... I never said I was in love with him...
Connor: You show all the classic symptoms of being in love, the starry eyed look in your eyes, and not to mention the classic ‘Off in another galaxy’ look you’ve had for over a week...
Ethan and Trent, her fellow students and former Dino Thunder Rangers catch up with them.
Connor: Please excuse Kira, she’s fantasising about the man in her dreams....
Trent(Smiling): And I’ve been thinking about you to Kira...
Kira: Well, it’s not exactly you I’ve been dreaming about. It’s this guy who’s been appearing in my dreams for the past week, I just can’t get him out of my head...
Trent: And just who is this other guy?
Kira: I have no idea, I’ve only ever seen him in my dreams and I don’t know if he’s real or not...
Setting: Space – Earth Orbit
The LionStar materialises in Earth orbit in a blaze of light and energy hat crackles over it’s hull.
Setting: LionStar – Bridge
Drax looks at the view screen as it displays a shot of Earth.
Drax: Computer, calculate landing co-ordinates within range of the target
Computer: Landing co-ordinates selected, landing destination is Reefside Harbour...
Suddenly, the entire bridge shakes and two consoles erupts in flames and sparks.
Drax: Computer, what the FRAG was that?
Computer: Impact was caused by weapons fire that originated from grid 924, fired from a Necrari battle cruiser
Drax worked the controls furiously, but all he got for his efforts was a shower of sparks that burst from the side of the console.
Computer: Reactor power at zero, defence grid at zero
Drax: Take us down to the landing co-ordinates
Computer: Unable to comply, auto-navigation is off-line
Drax: FRACK...
He cursed as he got up, he moved to the tactical station and once again worked the controls.
Drax: Do we have enough power for the Stealth Device?
Computer: Stealth Device is functional
Drax: Standby the stealth device
Setting: Necrari Battle Cruiser
From the shadows of the rear of the bridge of the Necrari battle cruiser, an angry voice roared out from the shadows.
Organ: Why is he still alive?
No one dared answer him as they feared reprisals for failing.
Kerok: We have a positive lock on him now my lord
Kerok is a slender creature that has wings are folded against his back, he has a series of spikes running down his arms. His eyes are black as night and evil. Another creature approached
Karg: His shields and weapons are down, with this next shot, we will kill him, and Earth will be yours my lord
This creature is stockier and well built. He is covered, from head to foot in red fur with jagged black markings. He his wearing combat style boots and trousers. He has a plasma cannon that is down his back, which can be brought up onto his shoulder and fired. He goes by the name Karg.
Organ: Then by all means, FIRE ON HIM YOU IDIOTS
Setting: Space – Earth Orbit
The Necrari battle cruiser is a large, ugly object that bristles with gun emplacements and launchers. From out of one of these launchers, a missiles blazes forth. It streaks on a direct course for the LionStar. It gains distance with every passing second.
Setting: Necrari Battle Cruiser - Bridge
Organ: Watch now, as humanity’s salvation ends before it has begun
Organ growls from his shadows. Both Karg and Kerok watch as the missile explodes, sending a shower of debris scattering into all directions. Kerok laughs, which sounds like nails down a chalk board, only not as nice.
Kerok: A direct hit, Drax has been killed
Karg stares at Kerok with a look of contempt reserved only for an idiot.
Karg: What an astute observation, perhaps next you’ll tell us Earth is populated by Humans.
Kerok: Go stick your head in a black hole Karg, you festering sore of a creature
As the two generals begin arguing, Organ growls angrily.
Organ: THAT IS ENOUGH FROM BOTH OF YOU. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CONQUER EARTH IF MY GENERALS ARE FIGHTING EACH OTHER
Kerok and Karg both turn to face the shadows on the bridge where Destron watches and they bow down.
Kerok: Forgive us my lord. We only wish to serve you
For a moment, there is silence, then Destron once again speaks, this time, it is an evil cackle that would send shivers down the spine of any Human that could hear him.
Organ: We will begin the invasion of Earth, ready the CyberDrones for combat.
Setting: Reefside Hills.
Drax adjusted the focus of his micro-binoculars. The eyes on the device instantly pulled back, allowing him to view the city before him.
Drax: C’mon, I know you are here, I just don’t know where exactly...
He placed his binoculars down. Overall, the entire situation was far worse than he’d thought it was. After the LionStar had been shot down and he’d made an emergency landing in Reefside Harbour. After he’d secured the ship, he’d made his way to the surface and begun his mission, which was the sole reason he had returned to Earth after all these years away.
Drax: Well, I guess the only way to find her is to actually go LOOK for her... so much for remaining hidden
Setting: Haley’s CyberSpace
Kira stared at the milkshake she’d been nursing for the past hour with next to no interest. The noise and bright colours of the cyber café seemed a blur to her as all she could think about was the mysterious man in red. The man in her dreams. A cocky grin spread across Connor’s face as he turned to face Kira.
Connor: So, when do we get to meet your mystery man?
Kira: He’s in my dreams you dunce, how can you meet him?
Connor(Laughing): You’re probably hiding him from us as you want to have him just for yourself. I don’t blame you, love can do strange things to a man
Kira knows her friend is just playfully teasing her. But she also knows that he speaks the truth. Ever since the mysterious figure, clad all in red, had first appeared in her dreams, she knew she was in love with him. But you can’t fall in love with someone whose face you’ve never seen. Can you?.
Haley: So, what’s this mystery man look like? I’ll bet he’s just divine...
Kira: I have no idea as to what he looks like, but he’s just so... so
Setting: Downtown Reefside
Drax stops, scratches his head and looks around.
Drax: this would be a lot less confusing if I had a scanner that worked...
He looks at the damaged scanner in his hand and growls at it. He slips it back into his pocket and walks up to a street map that is pinned to a notice board outside the town hall. He studies it and is about to head off and continue the search when something on the notice board grabs his attention.
“APPEARING EXCLUSIVLEY AT HALEY’S CYBER SPACE, UP AND COMING MUSISIAN KIRA FORD WILL BE PLAYING TONIGHT FROM 5PM”
Drax(Smiling): Yes, that’s it...
He checks the map and traces out the quickest route to Haley’s Cyber Space, then with a smile on his face, he heads away from city hall.
Setting: Haley’s Cyber Space
The Cyber café is dark inside but a rainbow of colourful lights flash around on the packed dance floor. A band plays rock in the background. Drax takes a sip of his milkshake and looks around.
Drax: This is a nice place...
Haley: Thank you
Drax turns around and sees Haley smiling at him from behind the bar.
Drax: And you are?
Haley: I’m Haley...
Drax: So this is your place right?
Haley(Smiling): That’s what the sign says...
Drax: I wonder if you could help me, I’m trying to find someone and I think they might be here
Haley: I’ll try, who is it?
Drax takes out a scanner and taps the controls until the view screen lights up with a picture of Kira, which he then shows to Haley.
Drax: I’m trying to find this girl. Can you help?
Before Haley can reply, the entire building shakes and the sound of an explosion can be heard over the music, which has come to a stop.
Drax: What the FRAG was that?
Haley: A monster? But it can’t be...
Drax: Why not?
Haley: The villain, Messagog, was destroyed by the Power rangers three months ago...
Setting: Outside Haley’s CyberSpace
As the people run out of Haley’s CyberSpace, they all come face to face with a giant monster attacking the city. But this is no ordinary monster, it is a monster from the past of the Power rangers. The monster attacking the city is none other than MagmaVore, the lava monster from LightSpeed Rescue. As the people run to safety, Drax watches as the old monster demolishes a bridge.
Drax: And you said the Power Rangers destroyed the local villain?
Haley: Yes, I was there, I helped them defeat Messagog...
Rather than ask how Haley was able to help, Drax just watches the monster.
Drax: I’d get to safety if I were you...
Haley: What about you? If you stay here you’ll...
She falls silent as Drax rolls up his sleeve and shows her the Lion Morpher that's on his wrist.
Drax: I’ll be fine, now go...
As Drax runs in the direction of the monster, Kira ands Ethan come running out of the Cyber Café. Kira just catches the briefest glimpse of Drax before he disappears around the corner and out of sight.
Kira(Smiling): That was him...
Ethan grabs her and pulls her out of the way as a piece of debris crashes down where she had just been standing.
Haley: Let’s go, we can monitor the battle from the Dino cave...
Ethan: What battle? We can’t fight him as we don’t have our power any more...
Haley: There’s another Power Ranger in the city, I just spoke to him before you came out, now please, let’s get out of here.....
The Rangers take her advice and the three of them run away from the Cyber Café.
Setting: Reefside City Center.
The lava based monster that is MagmaVore roars with anger as an energy beam slams into his head, knocking him off balance. He barely has time to turn around before more energy beams slam into him, pushing him back. Red Lion Force Ranger descends down from the clouds, holding two blasters.
Red Lion Force Ranger: Ok, you should NOT be here, the LightSpeed Rangers slagged you at the start of their Ranger careers
Setting: Dino Cave
Since we last saw it being wrecked by Zeltrax, the Dino Cave has been fully repaired and returned to it’s former glory. The door slides open and Haley, Kira and Ethan run in.
Haley: I might be able to show us the battle....
She works the controls. And as the door is about to slide shut, Connor, Trent and Tommy run in just as the monitors flicker to life.
Connor: Please tell me this isn’t Messagog coming in for a second series?
Haley: I’ve got it
Everyone gathers around the monitor and watches as Red Lion Force Ranger fires his dual blasters at MagmaVore while avoiding his Lava Bombs.
Tommy: Another Ranger?
Haley: I spoke to him before he went to fight that monster, what ever it is...
The Rangers watch the battle between Red Lion Force Ranger and MagmaVore unfold, angered at the fact they are not able to help him, who ever he is.
Setting: Reefside City Center
As Red Lion Force Ranger dodges a barrage of Lava Bombs, he notices it for the first time.
Red Lion Force Ranger: Hello, what do we have here?
Embedded on MagmaVore’s forehead is what appears to be an egg timer.
Red Lion Force Ranger: The egg timer... that’s Returner’s symbol...
He aims his blasters at the egg timer and fires them. The energy beams slice through the air and slam into the egg timer, shattering it into a billion flaming particles. MagmaVore’s body then freezes and shatters into a cloud of dust that blows away on the wind
Returner: You may have beaten MagmaVore, but I can bring him back again and again until you are destroyed...
Red Lion Force Ranger turns around and sees the monster who resurrected MagmaVore standing in the street below him. Red Lion Force Ranger descends down and lands in front of the monster known as Returner. His body is almost completely covered by his long cloak, and his head is hidden beneath a hood leaving only his fire red eyes shining out from within.
Red Lion Force Ranger: Line ‘em up Returner, I’ll knock them AND you down...
He aims his Blasters at the monster, but he whips his cloak around himself and teleports away. His voice echoes on the wind.
Returner: I’ll be seeing you Drax...
Red Lion Force Ranger holsters his blasters and takes out a scanning device and works the controls.
Red Lion Force Ranger: Not if I see you first...
Setting: Dino Cave
The former Dino Thunder Rangers watch as Red Lion Force Ranger destroys MagmaVore.
Kira: We should go and see if he needs help
Connor: How can we help him, we aren’t Rangers any more...
Kira: We may not have the power, but we’re still Power Rangers
Tommy: You know she’s right Connor
Connor: I know she is, but HOW can we help him?
Haley: Well for one thing, we can allow him to use the Dino Cave as a base of operations. And we still have some of our weapons he can use
Kira: I’ll go get him
Tommy: I’ll go as well, just in case he’s not what you think he is...
Setting: Reefside City Center
Tommy slams on his brakes, and the jeep skids to a halt. Directly in front of them, Red Lion Force Ranger is battling another monster from out of the past of Power Rangers.
Vypra: Surrender Power Ranger, and I will allow you to live, as my slave...
Red Lion Ranger: Get Bent, witch
Summoning the Fire Saber, Red Lion Force Ranger aims the weapon at Vypra and fires, but she dodges the blast and responds by using her own sword to blast energy beams at Red Lion Force Ranger.
Vypra: We are an even match Red Ranger, work with me and we can rule the WORLD...
Red Lion Force Ranger: Not slaggin’ likely
The evil she-daemon notices Tommy and Kira and fires several energy bolts at them. They strike the ground just in front of them, flinging the two former Dino thunder Rangers into the air. Tommy lands roughly on a patch of grass beneath a tree while Kira is slammed against a wall and slumps down, unconscious.
Vypra: Your choice Red Ranger, surrender your Morphers or these civilians die...
Red Lion Force Ranger Turns and sees Tommy limping over to help Kira.
Tommy: Don’t give in, just stop her
Red Lion Force Ranger draws one of his blasters and aims it at Tommy and Kira and turns to face Vypra.
Red Lion Force Ranger: I care nothing for these people. So as I prepare to ill them, I then shoot you.
And before the female daemon can react Red Lion Force Ranger raises his Fire Saber and blast Vypra right in the gut, sending her crashing back. He sends the Fire Saber away and walks up to Vypra. He notices the same egg timer embedded on her, but this one is on her left shoulder, not her head. He fires his Blaster at the egg timer, shattering it into a billion flaming particles. Vypra’s body turns into a cloud of dust that blows away on the wind.
Red Lion Force Ranger: Well, I’m two for two...
He holsters his Blaster and turns and heads over to where Tommy is kneeling next to Kira.
Red Lion Force Ranger: Is she dead?
Tommy: No, but she will be if we don’t get her...
Red Lion Force Ranger kneels down next to her and takes out a scanning device. He scans Kira’s body as the device makes a chirping and beeping noise.
Red Lion Force Ranger: I really need a new one of these...
He taps the scanner a few times then studies the readout.
Tommy: Can you help?
He scans Kira’s body again as the device makes a chirping and buzzing noise.
Red Lion Force Ranger: Ok, this is slagged, and I might be able to save her, but I can’t save her out in the open...
Tommy: I know a place where we can take her
Red Lion Force Ranger: Where?
Tommy: Our former base of operations...
Red Lion Force Ranger: What base of operations? Never mind, just enter the co-ordinates on this...
He hands Tommy a small, rectangular device with a numerical keypad on it. Tommy taps in an 8 digit number.
Tommy: Done, now what?
Red Lion Force Ranger picks Kira up and holds her gently
Red Lion Force Ranger: Now we do this....
The three of them are engulfed in a blaze of bright red energy that we recognise as the old style teleport.
Setting: Dino Cave
The flash of red light fills the dino cave as Red Lion Force Ranger teleports in with Tommy and the unconscious Kira.
Connor: Is she going to be ok?
Red Lion Force Ranger:
Red Lion Force Ranger: I need somewhere to lay her down...
Tommy leads him to a couch, Red Lion Force Ranger lays her down and takes out the scanning device. He removes a panel and pulls out several wires and begins stripping them down and re-wiring them
Red Lion Force Ranger: C’mon, work baby, work...
He then gets two of the wires and jams them into his Morpher. The scanning device beeps consistently.
Red Lion Force Ranger: Ok, here goes...
He presses a button on the device and a beam of red energy emits from the device and washes over Kira’s body, then it sputters and goes out.
Trent: Did it work?
Red Lion Force Ranger: I hope so...
Everyone gathers around the couch. For a few tense moments, nothing happens, then Kira begins to stir. She slowly opens her eyes and looks directly at Red Lion Force Ranger.
Kira(Smiling): You came, and you saved my life...
Red Lion Force Ranger: It’s all in a day’s work...
Red Lion Force Ranger stands up and moves away from the couch as Kira gets to her feet.
Haley: So, who exactly are you?
Trent: And why are you in Reefside?
Red Lion Force Ranger: So many questions? So where do I start...
Ethan: Well, traditionally you start at the beginning by telling us who you are
Red Lion Force Ranger: You have a point. Well, for starters, my name is Drax and I’m the Red Lion Force Ranger
Trent: And why are you in Reefside?
Red Lion Force Ranger: You wouldn’t believe me if I told you
Connor: Try us...
Red Lion Force Ranger: Ok, I am from the future, the year 3010 to be exact. I came back in time to retrieve several objects that had been lost in time and I ended up staying
Connor: You’re right, I don’t believe you...
Kira: What about the Time Force Rangers, they’re from the future so why can’t Red Lion Force Ranger be from the future?
Trent: And you still haven’t told us why are you in Reefside?
Red Lion Force Ranger: Now if I told you that, you REALLY wouldn’t believe me if I told you, I have trouble believing it myself...
Kira: What ever it is, it can’t be that unbelievable
Red Lion Force Ranger: Ok, as I’ve just told you, I am from the future, so I have knowledge of future events. For the past two months, I’ve been having these weird dreams; dreams about this strange, mysterious girl clad all in Yellow
Connor: That’s strange, as Kira’s been having dreams about this strange, mysterious figure glad all in red. And I think Kira is in love with this man from her dreams
Kira(Blushing): Ahem... I never said I was in love with him. I just can’t get this guy out of my head. I had no idea who he was or if he was even real or not, well, not until you showed up...
Connor: You mean Red Lion Force Ranger is the guy you’ve been dreaming about? You don’t even know what he looks like?
Haley: None of us do as he’s yet to share his identity with us
Trent: So are you gonna share your identity with us?
Red Lion Force Ranger: All you had to do was ask
Red Lion Force Ranger holds his arms up in a cross formation
Red Lion Force Ranger: Red Ranger, power down
There is a flash of red energy as Red Lion Force Ranger de-morphs back into Drax.
Kira(shocked): It’s him, the guy from my dreams...
Drax looks at Kira and frowns, and then it hits him like a MegaZord kicked him in the gut.
Drax: It’s her, the girl from my dreams...
Tommy: How can you be sure?
Drax: remember when I said I’m from the future and that I have knowledge of future events? Well, ever since I arrived from my time, I’ve had dreams about a girl from earth, who is a former Power Ranger, the yellow Ranger to be exact.
Haley: So how can you be sure it’s Kira?
Drax: As the time went on, the dreams became more and more intense, and two days before I came here, I had a dream that I came to Earth and saved a girl’s life, and that the girl I saved was the one from my dreams...
Haley: So where does the romance and love fit into it all?
Drax: The day I left, I had one more dream, well, more like a premonition actually.
Ethan: Don’t hold us in suspense, tell us what happened?
Drax: I saw myself and all of you. We were standing in front of this guy in black who was reading from a small black book and there was this casket next to him
Before anyone can reply, an alarm blares out. Haley moves to the console and activates one of the monitors.
Haley: Looks like trouble is back
On the monitor, the Rangers see Returner who is sat atop a car, twirling his staff around and firing energy bolts at people, causing them to run.
Ethan: Why’s he just sitting there?
Drax: He’s trying to draw me out into the open so he can set another monster loose on me.
Connor: How can he resurrect previously destroyed monsters?
Drax: Returner is a Class A monster who has limited resurrection capabilities
Connor: Which means what?
Drax: Returner can resurrect any monster on the planet he is on, but the good news is that they are not as strong as they once were.
Tommy(Nervous): Any monster?
Drax: Any monster he chooses, which as you probably have just realised, means he can resurrect any monster previously destroyed on Earth and that the crap has hit the fan
Haley: How do we stop him?
Drax: Destroy his staff and he’ll be weak enough to take down, permanently. I’ll go take care of him, be back soon...
He suddenly stopped. Kira stood between him and the exit.
Kira: In your timeline, what happens to us?
Drax didn’t answer her. How could he? How could Drax tell Kira, the girl he was in love with, about the fate that was to befall her.
Drax: There is no us Kira... not anymore...
He tries to push past her but she stands her ground.
Kira: Tell me what happens, or you are going no where...
And again, Drax didn’t answer her.
Kira: Drax, I love you, please tell me what happens...
Drax held out his hand, as Kira went to take it, he slapped his Morpher and teleported out in a flash of light.
Setting: Reefside City Center
Red Lion Force Ranger: Ok Returner, let’s finish this, you and me, right here, right now...
Returner looks up and sees Red Lion Force Ranger descending down from the sky, Fire Saber held firmly in his hands.
Returner: I would never dirty my hands by fighting you myself, I’ll let one of my associates do it for me... perhaps you’ve met ELGAR...
Returner stabs his staff into the ground which causes a sphere of energy to rise up. The simpleton idiot relative of Divatox steps out of the sphere of energy which dissipates behind him.
Elgar: Watch out world ‘cause Elgar’s back...
That is all Elgar says as he is hit square in the face by a blast from the Fire Saber. The blast hits the egg timer that was embedded in his left cheek. His body then turns into a cloud of dust that blows away on the wind.
Red Lion Force Ranger: That was so a waste of my time...
Red Lion Force Ranger turns and begins to walk away.
Returner: Do not turn your back on me Drax, I was only just getting started.
Returner once again stabs his staff into the ground which causes a sphere of energy to rise up.
Returner: Perhaps this enemy will keep you occupied until he rips your heart out with his bare claws...
Returner whips his cloak around himself and teleports away. His voice echoes on the wind.
Returner: Die painfully Drax...
The energy sphere dissipates, and when the next resurrected monster steps out of the sphere, Drax can hardly believe who it is.
Red Lion Force Ranger: No... no it can’t be him. NOT HIM...
Red Lion Force Ranger backs away
Darkonda: HAHAHAHA the reign of King Darkonda now begins...
Setting: Dino Cave
The former Dino Thunder Rangers watch as Red Lion Force Ranger backs away from the recently resurrected Darkonda.
Haley: Who is that?
Tommy: That’s Darkonda, but that isn’t right, he shouldn’t be here...
Ethan: I thought Drax said he could bring monsters back from the dead?
Tommy: he can, but Darkonda still shouldn’t be here...
Setting: Reefside City Center
Red Lion Force Ranger gets to his feet and slowly backs away from Darkonda. The evil Crulian notices and turns towards him.
Darkonda: Leaving so soon Drax, we still have business to attend to, like your surrender...
Red Lion Force Ranger: The only business I’m attending to is your destruction, you insidious FREAK
Darkonda(Laughing): such insults, if I had a heart, I would care...
Darkonda elongates his sword and Red Lion Force Ranger summons the Fire Saber.
Darkonda: Oh a fight, how FUN this is going to be, ripping your heart out in front of your fellow Lion Force Rangers right before I kill each of...
A fireball slams into the vile mutant, sending him skidding backwards, Red Lion Force Ranger charges at Darkonda and the fight begins.
Setting: Dino Cave
As the Rangers and Haley watch the battle, Tommy silently heads over to a filing cabinet, he opens it and brings out a computer disk and a sealed folder. He breaks the seal and opens the folder, inside is an intelligence report on the Hidden War with profile of the Psycho Rangers and all the major villains.
Tommy: He should not be here
Tommy looks at Darkonda’s profile and frowns. If he was transported to the enclosed galaxy, how can he be here?.
Setting: Reefside City Center
Darkonda and Red Lion Force Ranger are kicking the living crap out of each other.
Darkonda: Give it up Drax, if the great Zordon couldn’t stop me, then how do you propose...
He suddenly stops and stumbles backwards, holding his head as if he were in pain.
Darkonda: What’s... happening to me...
Before Red Lion Force Ranger can do anything, Darkonda warps away, still holding his head and roaring in pain.
Red Lion Force Ranger: What the hell is going on?
Setting: Moon Palace
The old palace of Rita and Lord Zedd is once again full of evil space alien life, outside the palace, there are hundreds of Skullinites, the evil foot soldiers are assembling hundreds of Cogs and Quantrons.
Setting: Moon Palace - Throne Room
Darkonda warps into the throne room, still holding his head and roaring in pain.
Organ: The pain you are experiencing is a mere fraction of what you will fell if you disobey me...
Darkonda glares up at the throne and sees it is shrouded in darkness.
Darkonda: No one threatens Darkonda and LIVES...
He draws his dagger and takes a step forwards when he is hit by a beam of purple energy. It wraps around him and lifts him off the ground. Returner steps out of the shadows, holding his staff at Darkonda while the purple energy streams from it and wraps around the backstabbing Crulian.
Returner: You will bow down before a living god, INSECT...
Returner slams his staff into the ground, releasing Darkonda who falls with a thud, he is about to get up when the voice from the shadows speaks out yet again.
Organ: You are a pawn, Darkonda, nothing more. If you serve me, you will be rewarded
Darkonda gets up and sheaths his sword.
Darkonda: What will my reward be?
Organ: Once the Power Rangers have been destroyed, Earth will be yours...
Darkonda smiles widely and cackles as he warps away.
Darkonda: Darkonda, ruler of Earth... just keep up your end of the bargain or you’ll wake up with your throat slit...
Returner: Are you really going to give him Earth>?
Organ: as the Humans would say “Hell no”. I’d promise him the entire galaxy if it would convince the Crulian to assist us...
From out of the darkness, two glowing red eyes shine out.
Organ: But for now, we must destroy the Red Lion Force Ranger, even as I speak, he is formulating a plan to stop us...
Setting: Dino Cave
Drax is sat on the couch, with Kira sat next to him
Connor: I say we just go and destroy Returner and be done with it
Drax: We can’t. Returner has hidden himself somewhere. He doesn’t have to be anywhere near the location of the destroyed monster he wants to resurrect. And what’s this ‘we’ business, I’m the only one who can fight him
Haley: We may not have powers, but we’re still your friends. And we will help you stop this monster
Drax: That’s easier said than done, with the LionStar down and out, I can’t scan for him, and if I can’t find him, we can’t fight him...
Tommy: So what? We just wait for him to resurrect another monster?
Kira: You can’t fight every monster that has been destroyed on Earth...
Drax: I can give it a try...
Before anyone can reply, the monitors all flicker to life. Haley turns back to them and works the keyboard, but nothing happens.
Drax: What’s going on?
Haley: We’re receiving a signal, I’ve tried blocking it but the signal gain is way to strong
The monitor flickers and shows the throne room of the palace. Returner is stood beside the throne, holding his staff tightly in his right hand.
Organ: Red Lion Force Ranger, this is your one and only chance, surrender now, and your death will be swift...
Drax gets up and moves to the monitors and stares at them.
Drax: Who ever you are, you can bite me because I have no plans to surrender...
Organ steps down from the throne and out into the light, giving us our first look at the Necrari monster. Organ is a tall and powerful creature who has a shell of spikes growing out of his back. He has a single horn in the center of his face. He has what looks like crystals in the center of his chest. They are perfectly formed and curve inwards, giving the impression that they open outwards. He has two enormous wings that are folded up against his back, pressing some of the spikes against his grey skin. He has two tails, both of which are tipped in the same crystals that are embedded in his chest, these one are jagged and nasty looking. he has two large mandible type objects on either side of his mouth while his fingers are tipped in nasty looking claws made out of that same crystal he has in his chest and on his tails, his hands rotate completely and the crystals split open, revealing miniature missiles, then the crystals snap shut. His feet are made out of space titanium. tucked up between his folded up wings he has a massive three pronged stinger. On either side of his wrists, he has half a spiked saw blade that form a drill when he brings his hands together. from the front of each shoulder, he has two long serpentine neck like growths that have a snapping mouth on the end, that is filed with razor sharp crystal teeth. On his stomach, he has a metal plate that is divided up into three segments, giving the impression that they can slide open. between his eyes there is a little stinger like object that can fire out a paralysing webbing type substance. He can also generate and throw a powder substance that burns when it comes into contact with anything. On either side of his horn, he has two antenna that are bent backwards at a 45 degree angle. Embedded in his shoulders he has to massive cannons. in-between each of his antenna, there are two little cannon type devices that can fire a paralysing goo. Instead of hair, he has three horns that are twisted behind his head. And embedded on the top of his shoulders he has two massive crystals that seem to grow out of him.
Organ: Oh but you WILL surrender Red Ranger, for you are but one Ranger and I am a living GOD...
Drax: You villains always have such delusions of grandeur
Organ: This is not a delusion Red Ranger, it is fact. For as well Returner’s resurrection abilities, I have one weapon that will assure me of your total destruction, watch now as I launch the end of your future...
The monitors flicker no longer display Organ sitting in his throne.
Setting: Moon’s Surface
A large crater near the palace suddenly erupts, but not in white hot flame, but with sub-zero eruption of blue vapour. The vapour continues to erupt and fall to the surface of the moon as something can be seen rising up from within the crater. The vapour turns into a blizzard 10 times worse than anything seen on Earth. As the blizzard continues to worsen, the object rising up from within the crater flies up from the surface of the moon, still surrounded by an impossibly large and blinding blizzard that surrounds it as it heads away from the moon. amidst the raging space blizzard, part of the object briefly becomes visible. Was that a robotic foot? The blizzard intensifies, coving up what ever it was as the blizzard enshrouded object heads towards earth.
