| Well, this is my last journal. I am now home and we had a wonderful time in Japan. It was so hard to leave, but I am excitied to be home so that I can look forward to going to japan again. My life was changed while I was in japan. Going there, I was hoping for this huge life changing experience and I was expecting to change many peoples lives by sharing the message of Christ with them all. The Lord had different plans for my time in japan. THere was not a lot of one on one witnessing in Japan, and we didn't see anybody come to christ but we knew that we made a difference through the friendships that we made. My leader Kari, really made a difference while getting to know a lady named Maki. She new nothing about the Lord or the chruch, but through getting to know Kari and talking a lot with her in the advacnced english class she learned so much. When we left, she said that she saw a light in Kari and that Kari had helped to open a door for her. IT was so exciting to actually hear that we made a difference. FOr me it was just the friendships I made with the youth of the church. I made some of the best friends of my life. It was so encouraging to go to japan and meet some on fire for the Lord kids. It would be so discouraging to be a christian in Japan, because nobody is, and these kids were on fire for the Lord. It made me really think about how much I take my faith and my country for grantid. I think taht the biggest lesson that the lord taught our whole team would have been compassion. Most of you know about our experience with a mad beating up his mom during a chruch service. Well, he was always around the church and we had to act like it didn't bother us. IT was a huge lesson in compassion to allow ourselves to not have any fear when he was around. I think that all of us wish that it hadn't have happened but are happy to have learned the lesson. Here are some of our last picutes, we left very attached.
