| Lego Racers - Real ones! |
| Like many kiddies, my sons play lego racers on the PC and Nintendo 64. When the machines are switched off, however, the play continues. And if they can't dress up as Lego Characters, they want to play with the real things. Trouble is, you can't buy a set of lego racers characters (as shown above) anywhere in the world! So, I set about trying to find / make my own set. Then I realised that each of the lego racers were from real lego sets, except Rocket Racer. I collected them from all over the world via e-bay and other on-line selling places, and then made my own Rocket Racer from other pieces. I printed a small logo for Rocket Racer, and completed my set for my eldest son's birthday! Priceless, to see the look on his face... I used this page to construct them, the best page for Lego Racers on the net. They are, from the left, King Kahuka, Johnny Thunder, Captain Redbeard, Baron von Barron, Basil the Batlord, Gipsy Moth and Rocket Racer..
