CHAPTER 4
NEWTON'S 3 LAWS OF MOTION
Newton's First Law: INERTIA
~Every body continues in its state of rest, or of motion in a straight line at constant speed, unless it is compelled to change that state by a net force exerted upon it.
Newton's Second Law: MOTION WITH UNBALANCED FORCES
~If an unbalanced force acts on an object, the object accelerates in the direction of the force.  The acceleration varies directly with the unbalanced force, and the acceleration varies inversely with the mass of the object. (F=MA)
Newton's Third Law:INTERACTION
~In a system where no external forces are present, every action force is always opposed by an equal and opposite reaction force.
Newtons Laws of Motion - This web site  you will explore all three laws of motion and how they work.~Debbie~
Newton's Laws in Demonstration - This web site easily exhibits newton's laws of motion with simple examples for any age student.  Isn't Physics so much fun?  :-)
