United We Stand

You filled our eyes with tears
And laden hearts heavy with grief
Yet our spirits remain unbroken
For this nation bonded closer together
One by one grasping thy hand
Of our fellow citizens standing
Stronger beside one another
Thru what may come our way
United we stand before
The face of our enemies.
We hide not in shame nor from fear
Heads held high with eyes on our Lord
Who will gently wipe our tears
Calm our heart from fears
Guide our path with strength
Patience, endurance to the bitter end
For we are Americans One Nation
Born of Pride, Dignity, Love
And
Respect for all humanity.
