Across the ocean she flew
To a far away land she knew
Nothing of but only of a man
Waiting to take her into his life
Who had captured her heart sweetly.
There she stood in the long corridor
Unsure of the crowded passageway
Feeling lost like the child inside her
With fears in every fiber of her being
Her eyes panicky watered with tears.
With each wary step she took
In search for him the more
Alone she felt with despaired
As her mind raced with fear of the
Mysterious journey far from home.
But there in the distant she caught a
Glimpse of the familiar face she knew
Taking her breath away as her heart
Skips a beat ecstatically for the man who
Captured her heart in a moment of time.
The smile broaden across his face
As his eyes met hers
Taking her into his arms gently
A promise to never let her go
Together at last for now and always.
