A ear to lend to listen once

A gentle hug of reassurance
When grief overshadows hearts.
Nothing more than a smile
To brighten someone else day.
The strong hand you offered
Showed there is hope.
The soft spoken words inspired
Faith to carry on.
The listening ear eased the fear
Of being alone in trouble times.
The caring heart offered the
Greatest gift� love.
