As the morning sun rises
With its warm bright light
Shining thru my window
Blinding my sight as
It warms my face and
grazes across my heart
O� I slowly close my eyes
consumed within the peace
Losing myself in the serenity
Of a few precious moments.
As my heart feels the warmth
Lost deeper in thought of a
World of beauty that surrounds me
A gentle smile curls my lips
O� how my eyes began to sparkle
In the marvel at the glimpse
Where not color of skin
Nor nationality, shape or size
Young or old, beauty or not
Living in harmony and peace.
O� on this grateful morning
For your illuminating light
That blinded my sight which
To open a portal for my
Heart to see the goodness
Of a world that could be if
We only learn to see others
With the purity of our hearts
We shall than be united
Bound in love one by one.
