POEMS: Spiritual Flower

What does a flower signify?
Love!
What does a spiritual bouquet signify?
Unconditional love.
Why? Because it has God for its source and its end.
F-L-O-W-E-R

FOLLOW the One who knows the way,
Lean not on your own understanding
Own a little and give much.
Whatever you do, do it to the glory of the Lord.
Even your enemies deserve a bit of your love
Re-examine your stance; think, not just twice,
but thrice before you carry out that action.
That way you will never go wrong.

How wonderful you are, O Lord, in all your deeds!
Recounting all you have done would leave me in a state of insanity.
In my struggles to harmonise spiritual growth and common life,
I meet with obstacles; sometimes small,
at other times great, but in all these I see grace,
I see consolation, most of all, I see a way forward.
I never despair, because grace has taught me to be hopeful.
I never weep hopelessly because faith in you
reveals the light as the night gives way to the day.
Faithlessness is absurd where love of you never faints.
The virtues a Christian possesses are like keys
which the explorer has to a treasure chest or
the map which the traveller has to lead him to his destination.
