POEMS: Anger

Anger, why do you destroy so quickly,
what had been built with toil and sweat?
Like wild fire, you consume a mans heart.
Like the will, you are blind, unable to think,
but choose the course of action by desire.

My ego speaks so loudly that my hearts ears are deafened.
It is so restless that it is hard to tame.
biting and tearing everything in sight
a plan to control it seems a futile plight.

I feed the seeds of humility to this monstrous beast,
hoping that it shrinks the beast to the least.
Even in this cloudy mist,
a little word from you wouldnt go amiss.
So I sit and pray in silence.
I will keep trusting in your omniscience.

Silence holds the keys that unlocks mysteries!
