A kajira or kajirus is a slave, a very special sort of slave. A gorean slave, has no choice, makes no decisions, their opinions, likes and dislikes, all meaningless. They are so because they have none unless they are given to them. They own nothing, all they have is their Masters, they dont even own their name, a name can be taken as fast as it was given at any time and for no reason except the Master wished it. Their love, worthless, why? Because they dont have the choice of who they love, or what they do. They do as commanded, nothing more, nothing less. Now on the otherhand a kajira is also a slave, one of Gor, one that has made the choice to be slave and there is the difference. A kajira loves deeply and fully, not only as commanded but because it is so absolutely part of her, who she is, what she desires to be, her very being is of devotion and dedication, nothing less is worthy of her, but too nothing less is acceptable to the Master. In some cases a kajira has a choice, a choice of taking a kolar (if she begs it), but like any true gorean slave, if a Master wishes that girl she has no choice in said matters of taking his kolar, it matters not her owner just as long as she can devote her being to the pleasure of a Free to serve and honor, to fullfill her heart of who she is. All choices outside a girl begging a kolar are that of her Masters, if a kajira is given such a choice, it should be chosen wisely, because her will becomes that of the Masters. His whims are her desires. She is obedient in all things and always strives to do her best in pleasing Him. He in turn, owns her, provides for her, cares for her, ensuring the best for her, ensuring that she is the best that she can be, teaches her and upholds her, and last but not least, fullfills her need for slavery even as she fulfills him as a Master. To a Gorean Master the kajira is property, His property, much like His sword, kaiila, tarn or hunting sleen. She is his animal to do with as he so pleases and he will treat her accordingly, of course this doesn't mean she is abused in any way, shape or form, but more so used, cared and maintained. If she is found pleasing she may be embellished and garnished with gifts as, clothing and jewelry, but unlike those that can be taken back as easily as given, she may receive special lessons which improve her service and overall value. He cares for his property and protects it, just as he would not abuse, beat and kick his kaiila or sleen, he would not do these things to his kajira for fun, whippings are in discipline and done with care of improving her, and she can expect to receive that promptly. This discipline means not that he no longer likes his property but in fact that he cares enough to improve it. Think of it this way, if he's not taking the time to improve, correct or discipline, that is the time to worry that he no longer cares. The kajira is often referred to as an animal, the same as his other animals are held as his property. However, in the real sense in that she is refered to as an animal is that she is "human", of which they are seen by Goreans as intrinsic part of nature and Goreans have a tremendous amount of respect for nature and for them to violate such or the order of nature is almost inconcievable to the Gorean and a heinous crime. Just like the animals of gor are part of nature so is the "human", and a Gorean Master never takes offense when he too is referred to as an animal, grins in fact when his kajir refers to him as a beast his is smuggly proud of that and acknowledges it fully, and is confirmation of his nature and of his humanity as such.It is often the case that a kajira may be referred to as a "meaningless slut" or just simply put "meaningless". Goreans don't consider themselves overly materialistic or enslaved to greed or their own desires, and to demonstrate this he may, in public, he may call her meaningless, when in fact he would risk his very life to save her from any danger. A slut is one who is both well used and is bound by their own carnal desires. The term is quite apt for the kajira. |
