"Waiting"
When we were young
we just couldn't wait,
To get alittle older
so we could date.
Then came our day
to get our license to drive,
We were so happy and
happy to be alive.
As we turned 18 graduation
rolled around,
We were so mature
in our caps and glown.
Then in no time it seemed
we were off to college to get our degree.
Days were weeks and weeks were months
Time was going faster now we'd all agree.
Now could we just slow down a bit
We're going alittle to fast!
We want to be young again
and this time make it last.
Now what's wrong with
kids today,
They all want to grow up
and move away.
Take my advice and
ENJOY IT.
The time will go by
before you know it.
