"My Silent Plea"
If for any reason you should walk by me,
Be as quite as you can be.
For my heart has fretfully fallen asleep,
and that's the only time it doesn't weep.
It misses someone that used to be,
but now he has set my lonely heart free.
But my heart cries out with so much pain,
just by the sound of his name.
To feel his presense near me again,
Would be just Heavenly so I pretend.
That it's him that I have next to me,
So I live here in my world of fantasy.
I know my life is passing me by,
but to live in reality I'd surely die.
One more day I painfully live,
hoping, praying that he'll soon forgive.
but if our time together has came to its end,
Then I'd rather live in my world of make believe and pretend.
So if you ever pass by me,
just remember my silent plea.
