I don't want you to cry or be sad,
Just remember all the happiness
that you and I had.
I know where I'm going
and I'll miss you so,
But just remember you
will have to let me go.
Be strong and accept
what is to be,
And someday we'll meet again
you'll see.
I can't promise you tomorrow
but I can promise you this,
I'll love you with all my heart
and I'll cherish our last kiss.
You will be loved
even if I'm not here,
You'll feel that love
and know that I'm near.
If I could change the future
I would do what I could do,
I would be more than happy to stay
just so I could be with you.
So as I take my last breath
I prefer to be all alone,
cause I don't want to see
the pain that will be shown.
I want to remember you
with a smile upon your face,
not tears and saddness
that my heart could never erase.
The time is drawing near
So give me one last smile,
One that I can carry with me
and remember all the while.
