My Guardian Angel
My Guardian Angel will look over me
And keep me from danger that I can't see.
He'll never leave me to face life alone
For he's still with me now that I'm grown.
Sometimes I think I can almost see
My Guardian Angel looking over me.
My image of him has always been
Deeply engraved in my mind within.
Dark hair and eyes with an incredible smile
And his way with words would be his own style.
Words he whispered or words he said
Would be the words only I could hear in my head.
When I think of him and then of you
I wonder if you are one instead of two.
So if it seems we've met before
Could you be that Angel that I couldn't love more.
