Siblings: Sister Joanna has 5 children, half sister Danielle.
School: Kingsmead in Enfield. She left when she was 15 with no qualifications.
Current occupation: Plays Albert Squares 'Tart with a Heart' Kat Slater in
the popular soap 'EastEnders'
Jessie Facts
- Jessie once had a traumatic, abusive relationship with a man she refuses to name. He broke her jaw and she says that it still clicks out of place sometimes. Aww, pet lamb. *hugs*
- Jessie is currently doing the Atkins Diet with Shane Ritchie. As pointed out by Jessica, she really doesn't need to!
- Once, while doing a play, Jessie had to pull a coin from her top and she accidentally pulled out her boob! She flashed the audience but carried on as if she was meant to do it!
- She once set fire to a girls hair at school with her lighter. It was an accident and she said her hair just went up because of all the hair products she had on. hehe.
- She's a huge fan of Madonna.
- Jessie had a breast reduction because she felt that people didn't take her seriously as an actress because of her boobs heh. She went from an E cup down to a nice C.
- Jessie said that if she had to play any other EE character, it would be... Dot Cotton!
- She described herself in 3 words as "Scatty, irresponsible and thoughtful" hehe.
- Jessie admitted she would like to try her hand at directing...and would also like to star in a movie...wooo!
-Jessie says she is her own worst critic. "I like to watch myself to see if I'm going wrong anywhere."
- Jessie is a HUGE fan of Elvis!!
- She loves him so much that she dyed her hair black because of him.
- She also has "Elvis" tattooed on her thigh. ( I think that she had this done over the pastel coloured flowers she had on her thigh, which she regretted having. But don't quote me on that!!)
-Jessie has a shih-tzu called Bailey and she takes it to work with her. She gets anybody who's free on set to look after him. Bless. Jessie also has an Alsation named George and a cat called Elvis! She once said she wanted to get another dog and name it Tia after Tia-Maria, a little girlfriend for Bailey!
-Jessie loves Kat's wardrobe! Although she insists she would never wear it! She says she loves to go shopping to buy tacky jewelery for Kat's wardrobe. "The tackier the better!"
-Jessie used to fancy Sid Owen (Easties' Rickkkkaaaaay! ) in her younger days.
-Jessie found out she had got the part as Kat while walking down the street. She said she started crying in the middle of the street! *boohoo!*
-Jessie got her name from her precious Grandmother whom she adored. Her grandmother passed away in 1994, aged 72.
-Jessie can fit her whole fist in her mouth!!
-Jessie has been suspended from work for 2 months(!) for her recent drunken behaviour. (well we still love you Jessie!!)
-Jessie has a phobia of... FEET!!
