Simplistic Reading is a business that helps to sell books to people in prison across the United States. If a person would like to read certain authors or titles, they only have to let me know. Once I recieve their request, I will make a special catalog for that person.

Each month I will send a large quantity of catalogs out to each prison in the state. Simplistic Reading will begin with Texas and add a state every 3 months to the customer profile.

Hopefully, Simplistic Reading will help in promoting literacy and higher education within the prison systems.

The cost of books through Simplistic Reading will be cheaper than in stores. Also, with Simplistic Reading, the customer will not have to worry about how long it will take to recieve their order. As soon as I recieve the order and payment, the books will be in the mail and on their way by the end of the next mailing day.

At the present moment, the business is trying to get the funding or support to get off of the ground. At present, it will take a total of $151,130 to get started. This total will cover the expenses, supplies, and inventory for the first 6 months of opperations. At the bottom of the web page is the totals of funding that has been given and who it's from plus the number of customers we have. This web page will be updated weekly to inform you of how Simplistic Reading is doing.

If you have any questions or comments for me about Simplistic Reading, my email addresses are to the left. Don't hesitate to send me a message.

Simplistic Reading is about getting new copies of books into the prisons across the United States. For every 70,000 prisoners there are only 40,000 books available within the prisons. With most of these books being donated, they are in sad shape once the prisoners get to them. By the time the books get half way through the prison, there are pages missing, torn pages, writting within the book, or they are just falling apart from rough treatment or age.

Simplistic Reading will be selling new books into the prisons to customers. To be able to do this, Simplistic Reading is looking for donations of anything up to $151,130 to get started. Any donations will be helpful. To send donations please put irgent on the envelope and send it to:

To improve literacy within the prisons the country needs a business like Simplistic Reading. Then literacy can grow like the Eiffle tower did, straight and tall.
